(yes small fleet but we're pirates not t2 lottery winners) We spot Liga Freier Terraner guys gathering 1 sys away but think *&^% it, lets just stay. Next a merlin warps in and cynos fill our overviews..... The problem with this type of battle is the lag. You have roughly 20-25 people fighting in close proximity of a POS (with over 100 fighter drones about, countless other non-fighter drones), when your ship pops the lag is horrific even if you have effects off. One of our dread pilots was podded as a result of this lag. You can't tell me sticking around in your pod in this situation only to get lag podded is the thing to do. Personally I stayed, after my ship was popped I warped my pod out the old fashion way but it took ages; perhaps I was lucky. My implants don't cost much so it doesn't bother me if I lose my pod. I can't fault Tiller for saving his pod in that lag infested combat. Some of my gang mates couldn't even target ships FFS. Anyways, good job to all those involved, was quite fun.

I'm a dread noob My dread was fitted for light dmg on a small pos while keeping a painter and faction web back for when we got jumped.
