Actually, yeah, I wouldn't have logged. I just recently lost a couple hundred million in implants 45 minutes after I pluged them in. Could I have logged off? Easily. Did I? Know, I waited around until I popped and failed at getting away. Now, you may say, "but it was only a few hundred million in implants, not a BILLION." However, shinanigans. I'm not rich, a few hundred million was way more isk than I could replace, yet I did not log off. From the way you guys talk about how uber you are, I would guess you are much wealthier than I. So NO excuse, other than Tiller logged to save his pod. This is about as noble as self-destructing your carrier, or logging in a capital ship when you know you'll warp away before your popped. -Karlemgne

Like I tried to explain to Scoundrelus a couple of weeks ago when he was whining because a friend undocked in his thanatos when Scoundrelus wanted to fight in t2 frigs. Basically the same old: "Waaah! It isn't fair!"-argument the bears have been recycling all this time. Face it, piracy isn't supposed to be fair. Attacking miners, haulers, whatever, it's not fair, and whatever tool you use to SMASH their ships open (to get to the good stuff) is your own choice. Debating whether you use a hammer or a pneumatic drill is "proper" in terms of EVE is pointless, as the ship you kill will be destroyed all the same. If you want "fair" fights, go play some other game. EVE isn't fair. Plain and simple. [OMG! SMASH!]
