One of our dread pilots was podded as a result of this lag. You can't tell me sticking around in your pod in this situation only to get lag podded is the thing to do. Personally I stayed, after my ship was popped I warped my pod out the old fashion way but it took ages; perhaps I was lucky. My implants don't cost much so it doesn't bother me if I lose my pod. I can't fault Tiller for saving his pod in that lag infested combat. Some of my gang mates couldn't even target ships FFS. Anyways, good job to all those involved, was quite fun. Poor tub has never been podded since just after eve was first released (over 3 years), lag hits and BOOM. I was not gonna suffer the same fate... Actually LR podded him a total of three times last year ^^

Heys I use my phoenix daily at low sec gates and I'm certainly not gonna put all my 'eggs' in one basket by pimping it with gist x hardeners etc... One thing that pirates have trouble with is replacing stuff like this, I only have a spare dread because I missioned *****d for 3 months solid. Here was the nub setup I was using... cheap, cheerful and for general use fine. Gist X hardeners / amp / officer pdu's or bcu's would of lasted exactly the same time as I could tank the carriers quite well... but cap was drained in just a few mins and all modules turned off for remained of fight. 3 Cit launchers with Rift 1 Siege Mod 1 Best named painter (for BS popping) 1 TS Webby (for BS popping) 1 T2 EM Hardener 2 Invun II 1 T2 amp 1 Cap Shield Booster 1 Random named CPU I found in hang 3 PDU II 1 DCU II I was 2 short on CPU when fitting so had to put cpu on... guess need a couple of skills up abit.
