I recently posted this on our Privs boards as a possible new tactic for static gate camps. My first response was "possible exploit" get it checked. I have not tired this yet and have no offical word on it BUT:
Ship 1 with a 25M dron bay waits on gate.
Ship 2 (Domi/Ist) flys to the gate, drops 5 Heavy drones and warps off to restock.
Ship 1 Scoops and drops the heavy drones 1 by 1 until you have 5 in space and under your controll.
Ship 2 comes back and waits. When combat starts he drops another 5 drones into the fray and suprises the target.
ok - What I dont want is OMFG SPLOITERS>>>I havent tried it yet.
what I would like is someone who has spoken with a GM about this already (I have only been in eve a year and I am sure someone will of thought of this before)
Hear-say and conjecture is no good - I would like someone with expeirence in this to post.

has this been tested? if not, then i think you should do so, if my reckoning is right, you won't be able to do this. the guy with the 25m3 drone bay will not be able to control 5 heavy drones as it won't let him scoop and deploy them one by one.
i'm pretty sure i tried the same once by attempting to scoop an ally's drones when they warped off and i had my drones deployed. i had drone bay space to scoop, but because i had drones in space equal to my max bay size, nothing happened.
I will test it later tonight, but other people seem to be using it fine.
