1 x forum signature with a heavy assault ship or faction BS in it (reguardless if you can/cant fly it or your mum bought it you for xmas on ebay)
It is essential that you reply to as many threads as you possibly can with stupid flames and crass remarks about the OP.
Keep a very close eye on the video forum, be sure to add '1st!' to every new thread, this makes u extra cool.
Look for highly populated threads (see nano BS discussion, nerf stabs thread, logging etc) when u find such a thread post in it as many times as possible, this makes for good exposure to the other cool forum egos.
1 x Smacking alt with a stupid name, when u post with the alt remember to immediately post with your main saying 'bloody alts' this makes u look cool to.
Join a famous pvp corp, infact join as many as u can as this will boost your epeen buy 20% and if your lucky a man with a female avatar will say hes your GF.
soon enough you will find yourself presenting eve-tv next to a squeeky 15 y/o kid who owns a hulk BPO and a large man with more chins than a chinese phone book.

The only way to be cool is to have the sig of a corp that you're not in anymore.
Also, seconded on first posts. IMO you should get a warning for '1st' or canned worthless replies like 'IBDS'. It's worth nothing to anybody and it's not funny.

My sigs only feature ships I can and do fly.
I post in threads with stupid flames and crass remarks about everyone who disagrees with the OP.
I only posted in the video forum once, it was on an alt, and it was to post an actual video.
I post mainly in smaller threads.
I always post with my main.
I've never been in a PvP corp.
I'll never be on Eve-TV.

Funny you should say that. You can only become cool in game by spamming the forums. While the game was in beta, there was a question on the forums asking 'What do you think people will need to do to be famous?'. I answered 'Spam the forums'. I was right then, and I'm right now.
