Recently we had some billing issues, and if you petitioned it should be dealt with or the GMs should get to you soon. There has been some conflicting reports regarding if the issues were sorted or not, which is why we'd like you to post here should you still have a problem with billing.
Without overly complicating things, if you had a problem but it has been resolved or it was caused during the last few days and you already petitioned, you don't need to post. But if you're having problems with billing right now, please post to let us know if the billing system still have problems.
And of course, even if you post here, please petition as well.

I had isues the other day, but I just went and bought a GTC. Although im hearing rumours about it still billing you ? I have been lazy and haven't checked but any way you can comfirm if that has been happening ?

Do you remember what ype of problem you had? Error messages and such?

Do you remember what ype of problem you had? Error messages and such?

Hmm, after seeing this post i went to check my account. I had issues getting the site to accept my credit card, got an error saying: ERROR: Input invalid. You may not use any language specific or special characters
And now I see that my credit card got billed on the 8th, my account is currently active because the billing people gave me a small extension because of the error when trying to put in credit card details

I had some trouble with my CC, it got billed, account didnt update from payment type gtc->cc etc, then I learned about the billing problems, and yes I took out the cheese and wine alil ;) Did it the gtc way to get eve working over weekend, with reports of billing working again but no update of account I wrote a petition wondering about what happend to my $ that went out last week?
GM got back to me and all was sorted out just nice and without trouble the missing payment added to my days.
(Drats... does this mean I cant join the 'I'll quit eve' herd? :( )
Nevermind me, just letting ppl know it works and you'll get help if something gone missing :)

I'm still having problem with this. I tried to reactive my other account 4-5 days ago with a cc, it said the payment was accepted and I saw that the money was taken from the card. My account still haven't gone active though

on my other 2 accounts I got nailed with 2 payments and no time... just checked ( takes 1 to 2 days for it to show on the web ) ... i did timecards instead since the info provided on the web that it didn't take my info ... I will be contacting ccp after this post ... suggest everyone who did do the credit card check your invoice on the web

Looks like ive been having the same problems as well, have been billed for my alt account on the 8th, the site said that, after i had entered my card details, that it had been added fine. I log out, log in again, and it says that my account is still inactive, and there is no mention of a cc being added. Billed and account still inactive. Petition filed roughly 2 days ago i believe.

I tried to reactivate my account this evening. But i'm always getting the same error message:
ERROR: Input invalid. You may not use any language specific or special characters
Seems that the billing system has still problems.

you might be able to enter ur info if u clear it all of the info, then re-type, i did that, but not too sure if itll activate your acct, may just show u that ur cc has been added

I will check in the morning if the CC has been billed, if so obviously will be lucking maybe for refund or a months extention to sub, but hey no biggy I can live with the 8 pound damage

I wish that my problem was that I couldnÆt pay, instead I got double billed on at least 3 of my 4 accounts and it caused numerous insufficient funds charges. After the most recent one I killed my debit card and told my bank to send me a new one.
I sent in an email to support@eve-online on the 11th and just field an actual petition this afternoon (I didnÆt realize that sending the email wasnÆt enough)

For the ERROR: Input invalid. You may not use any language specific or special characters
Remove your email address and phone number and it should work.
if not re-enter your personal details as well.

Can't extend my sub using the Paybycash option
Error message is as follows:
An unexpected error has occured, please try pressing your browsers back button and try again. If the problem persists contact support.
Used Firefox, then IE7 to no avail.
Petition sent too.

I noted on my Mastercard statement that I recieved a double charge and an additional charge a few days later... I've tried to petition but the system seems to be down...

Apologies for already posting this reply on a different thread, but I found this thread afterwards.
I cannot extend/activate my trial. I'm only an IBM Java developer (so I don't know much ;-) but it seems to me that there's a server-side authentication issue with the PayByCash option.
If I choose the "Extend Trail" link with PaybyCash, it takes me through a few pages. But before I can make a payment I get booted back to the login page. Tried on multiple machines with both Firefox and IE (6 & 7). Petition response from a GM asked me to allow popups/javascript etc. so I'm guessing you/they don't even understand the problem yet! FYI, I can get to the credit card page OK but, given the problems I'm reading with credit cards, you'll understand that PayByCash is my only preference at the moment.
[NB Only two more days until I leave Eve/CCP and take my money away!]

Follow-up to the PayByCash issue Feb '06
Just received a petition response from a GM acknowledging this is a known problem and they hope to have a fix very soon. So for anyone else with the same PayByCash problem, drop them a petition and hang tight!

The GM acknowledged the problem, temporary re-activate back my account, in another day I fully get what I've paid for.
My account has been successfully re-activated for another 3months.

I had to change my address from "Jalan 12/38E" to "Jalan 12 STROKE 38E" and the billing process got through.
I wasn't able to do anything nor even post here earlier, until i got it sorted out to re-activate my account. Hope CCP will fix this soon.

This doesn't seem to be the norm, but one of my alt accounts seems to be gone. It's like it never existed, in that I can't login or get to account management or do password recovery, except the characters are still in the database. I wonder if this is connected or if I got haxxed.
