Actually I don't think Verone is hard to understand at all... maybe he would be on teamspeak, but on skype he sounds ace.
Anyways, I also updated the OP to reflect when this will all be happening, so if you were interested in being a part of this go ahead tand read the bit in the OP labeled "update".

Ive not had a laugh for a while, since gingie moaned about being blobbed by capital ships, and saying they weren't pvping. So do gingie ^^ It'll be a good ol' fashioned comical rodeo - That has no relevance, i can just imagine gingie riding a bull...

"REAL PIRATE"?
Far as I'm concerned there are degrees of piracy, just like anything else.
To ME a real pirate is one who tries conclusions with people in 0.0, against people who are organized and can bring out the whupass in numbers. You'll want to talk to one of those.
If someone has 3/4 of his kb being haulers, miners, and n00b ships, meh... he may be a prat, just not hardcore.

Do you understand the concept of piracy? Its not about fair odds, its about killing people and taking thier stuff.

Surely it's no mystery to you why exactly there is such a brigade given ginger's post.
And by the way, I rule you.

You know, I'm half tempted to get Ginger on with a couple of you guys so we can make it something like Jerry Springer - Eve Pirate edition...
Anyways, I'll be in-game in a minute or so to continue talking to folks who are interested in being on the show. The lineup for this week is looking pretty good so far.

Obviously any interview with the top pirate pvp'ers in eve (most of SNOWY are in the top 10) will cost substantial isk.
Nobody as good as we are, as in real life, would offer anything for free.
If this is not the usual arrangment for Eve Radio interviews then I'm afraid you'll have to interview noob carebears instead, which on looking at this thread is what you'll end up with in the main.
Sorry to hurt anyones feelings.
ps: maybe you can have a whip around to get enough isk together ?, just a thought.

I don't think you'll get the same experience as you would with verone, tiller, or Shamis (Heck, Shamis was in E-ON). I consider those guys the bigwigs of piracy. Most stories I've seen from them have been blobby, but I don't doubt they have some great experience with skirmish warfare.
I have a few fun stories regarding battleship kills and people ejecting their pods to give me a fresh new ship. Among other fun things.
I don't think I've been in a gatecamp yet. :D
If I had to pick someone I'd be interested in listening to on the radio, it would definitely be Farjung. Uber vindicator pilot of pain. :D (just watch wave of mutilation II at eve files)
Aye, interview Nylian. Pirates that I respect around EVE though : Keta Min, Absolute Evil, Jesnen, Devilish Ledoux ( no longer a pirate, but he IS quite eloquent and captures the ideas quite well), Tareen Kashaar(ditto), ArmageddonPSA, Typherin laidai (if you can find his old owner ), Intigo, or kublai ( in no particular order) - all very different backgrounds of piracy, but still all definitely quite piratical.

Awww, you mentioned me. <3
Also, Nylian is way cool - if he gets on he has to mention me too! Although the times we've gone pirating together haven't always ended up that well. I always seem to find the easy targets when I'm on my own ( http://dl.eve-files.com/media/corp/Klauz/fun3on1.avi ), and end up getting someone blown up when I'm not alone. ^^ -- Piewat! Edited by: DJ FunkyBacon on 20/02/2007 15:54:44 With regards to getting paid... well um.... how to put this... your payment is getting your story out to however many hundreds of people are listening to the show while you're on air, a chance to increase your notoriety/fame what have you... it's some nice exposute, but yeah, if you're looking for isk, I'm sorry to dissapoint, this isn't the Today Show.
EDIT: Oh yes, and we're going live with day 1 in about 5 minutes.

Edited by: DJ FunkyBacon on 22/02/2007 17:18:03 Edited by: DJ FunkyBacon on 22/02/2007 17:17:14 Ok, last bump for this baby since this is the second, and last show in the Pirate Week Series going live at 1900GMT.
We've got a couple people lined up today to talk, but anyone else who is either a pirate (and when I say "real" pirate, by that I mean someone with some experience at it not a complete noob pirate. We have established there are several types of piracy one can commit) or anyone who wants to cry about pirates, I'd like to hear from you.
Once again you will NEED to have skype, and ffs please check your mic settings ahead of time, and make sure your mom doesn't walk into your room screaming at you about something (yes it happened on Tuesday )
Aside from that, send me an eve-mail saying you're available and what your skype name is and hopefully we'll be able to ring you up during the show and see what you have to add to the topic.
On Tuesday our audience was just over 400, and we expect to be a bit bigger today given the later gaming hour. Hope to see you all there.
EDIT: Oh yes, and as those listening on Tuesday are aware, we did touch on the Universal war on LV, had a rep from Burn Eden as well as Goon Fleet give us a progress on the war and their take on it but though someone was in the chat channel whooping it up for LV we were unable to get anyone representing LV on air. Today we'll have another ER DJ, who was involved in the Titan abortion battle on LV's side come on to give a take on the war from that side of it, though if anyone actually from LV wants to get in touch please do, we're not biased and are willing to let both sides give their stories on it.
