Save up and get a mining barge and someone comes and steal everything in my can. God I love how no matter what someone can screw you over in this game. Makes it really fun saving up just to learn some other way a person can #$%& you over. Thanks CCP for making it so that anyone can open you can and take the stuff out and for making it where someone can kill you quick enough before anything happens in a 1.0 (suppose to be the most secure sectors)space.

Those five were just off the top of my head, I expect I could go on for a loong time if I put my mind to it. Just for fun, lets see how many gamealtering changed griefers have caused that we can list, now primarilly I would like to see changes that are good for the non griefer players and not stuff that griefers have been able to whine into the game.

Its people who demand that everyone should play their game that needs to leave, in your case probably to some FPS shootemup game.

These both have many many counters, to name a few: 1 a) Don't use an indy to transport high value goods - use a t2 hauler b) stick an armour plate on your indy, with a little luck by the time the pirate and chewed through it, he will have been conkordened 2) a) Don't jet can mine, full stop. Fly back to the station when your bay is full. jet-can mining was never an intended usage of them. What you are effectively doing is discarding your ore, then picking it up again. b) Have a mate in an indy waiting to pick the ore up straight away - split it with him 50/50. Hell, organise a corp (even if it's npc) mining op. these are but a few solutions to your problems. Yes, they all have negative side effects, BUT, as with everything in eve, it's a case of risk vs reward. Anyway, hope this helps resolve your issues! I hope for your sake that you persevere, eve is a fantastic game that has a lot to offer to most people willing to stick at it for a while! RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE!!!

Yes EVE is PvP but not everyone wants to PvP (combat thingy) but more want to build, produce, mine (PvP industrialist thingy). Its your opinion but please think twice before posting something like that. What most carebears do in Empire, building, mining, researching and so on, is part of EVE and is necessary for YOU to PvP (combat thingy). --- It have always fallen to a few to sacrifice for the good of many

I would recommend getting out to 0.0 space and having fun instead of losing your wits in Empire space. Jita = a terrible place for a sober man! A n00b might sound like a good idea, but all that would happen would be to create a false sense of security and people would still get upset when they start losing stuff once they outgrow it. Plus, someone would find a way to exploit a perfectly secure system somehow. Crash courses in the harsh virtual reality of Eve is recommended. Surrounding yourself with friends and allies is the strongest defense against greifing you can have.

It's really disheartening at times especially for new players but CCP has never seemed to care so sadly we can't expect much from them. There are ways to avoid the newb hunters but you have to spend loads of isk and train piles of skills before you are even relatively safe. A lot of people see new players as easy prey and they aren't even killing them for profit. It's a really sad state of affairs when someone gets pleasure from doing something like that. It says a lot about humanity in general and reinforces my embarrassment to be a member of this species... --- CCP : Save my mousewheel!
