This is a request for a situation report
on the Outbreak drama currently ongoing.
Rumors say the leaders/directors were alts of a certain metagaming alliance, and they admitted same.
Rumors also say they admitted getting help from said metagaming alliances' "special friends".
Could we get those in the know to comment?
No flames, no trolls, and no mentioning of whom those "special friends" might be allowed.
No metioning of other recent scandals/wars/tinfoil allowed either.
Keep it clean,and follow all posting rules. |

Yeah sorry mate it's time we came clean. . . we've done a bit of a Truman show on you here. Basically everyone's in on it apart from you and CYVOK and we've been filming the whole thing for. . . . . with roast potatoes. . . . . and the Molle said "Is that a carrot or are you just pleased to see me?". . . . . in warped 6 T2 titans. . . . . and that's basically the story of the last 3 years of Eve.
So, really, ask a silly question and you get a silly answer tbh.

Outbreak are splitting up and Welsh has been on the phone to me all night crying his heart out. It has also been rumoured that swintonbadger has left his set and is wandering unlighted country roads in hope of being run over by a passing car.

The truth from a long term member of outbreak.
It has recently come to our attention that a member of outbreak namely Kruggerand, a member who we have always thought very highly off, a member who from the begining has always had very influential power in "who our next target will be" is infact an alt of Blacklight.
We have also discovered that our months spent in fountain was not purely for the fun of the fights, it was a method to train the Xelas mases into becoming a more efficient pvping force, who would be worthy of being associated with BOB. It seems that Blacklight underestimated the pvp ability of Outbreak, and realised that BOB would need to come up and remove us while gaining experience for any new fleet commanders within BOB.
We have just finished a huge painstaking internal security assesment and feel that all BOB alts have been removed from the corporation, namely (Boldyn, Selpy, Kruggerand and Dave Tehsulei) from here we feel comfortable in not disbanding. If we can survive the coming days of paranoia, we will be looking to join a major alliance who is currently involved in attacking BOB. Our clear favorites to join is Goonfleet. Hope to see all of you goons in a day or two.

Quite shocking to hear o_O but not entirely surprising i guess, I kept hearing from people who were convinced outbreak were a bob alt corp but I always took this with a pinch of salt given the time you spent fighting bob in Fountain.
I was going to post and simply say "sucks to be u(sed)" but then i realised it wasn't very funny. too early in the week for my sense of humour to recover from the weekend :p
Anyway, as one of the few pvp corps I've fought in the north that I have a whole lot of respect for, I hope you can keep it alive (sans the bobbit alts) regardless of your standings to us.
