Did you all die or did you have "emergency warps"?

No, this is what happened from my point of view.
We were heavily out gunned on the gate, and their caps were engaging one of our POS. I decided to take the fight to our POS to have those guns on our side. We jumped into local in waves and held cloak. I trash talked them for a few seconds then gave the order to put some remote reps on me.
I de-cloaked, the entire fleet pounded on me, I held out for a while, I died, most of the rest of the fleet were out of the bubble by that time, I gang warped us to the POS, we killed 2 of their dreads, and then bubbled their fleet whilst letting the pos guns even things up accounting for their fighters. I sensed chow was about to come on so we get bubbles on their major bs groups and I called an align, which people did - I saw a lone ship come in, we gang warped out, chow killed a lot of his ships, we warped back in and finished them off.
Sounds like good strategy to be fair. But clarify please 3 more points.
1) How did the majority of the fleet get out of the bubbles (of 40 kms or so I was told) in the time it took 1 BS to go down to 150 + fighters?
2) How come you gangwarped people to POS while dying to 150 guns? I have had tht happen to me and usually you lag out from half shields to wake up in station.
3) What happened to the LV fleet of 150+ support? Did they not also warp to the POS right behind you? Or were you 150 vs 150 at the POS and you still killed them and their capitals?
I am asking becaue i have heard reports that the first "Coallition" wave died because the node held. Then the second wave crashed the node. Then no one in the system could move but the 3rd and 4th waves managed to jump through and go to the POS. Still cool use of numbers I guess (though perhaps against the much debated game mechanics? dont know) but a whole different story from your initial post.
I dont know these things its just what I heard. Please clarify for me. Ty. Arguably my opinions represent to an extent the opinions of my alliance and in particular circumstances give rise to a valid "casus belli" claim. |
