prathe Minmatar Omega Enterprises Dusk and Dawn	Posted - 2007.02.23 22:13:00 - [125] a quick report ... for the details people we were assaulting bob pos in y-2 we kept the main ships in our fleet at pos while dreads did their thing emily was already in position and waiting several allied and internal intel sources confirmed bob massing capitals in 9-cg to go on the offensive probable target was d2 in y-2ano all intel was recieved and fleet more or less slept thru bob's approach . when bob forces arrived fleet was warped to pos outside of hostile pos range looking to make the appearance of supporting d2 fleet . imediatly after warpin the screen turned dark black our fleet warped out and then back in repositioned and it was done . that simple . no disrespect , no chest beating , it was great fun . thanks to all involved

I expected Shrike to attempt to DD our support fleet to scare them off, so a new cyno near the pos was no surprise. However instead of for the first time seeing the light of judgement, my screen started going black, and a pretty number of BoB wrecks appeared on screen (after the obligatory yet minimal lag). I laughed my ass off, though i didnt know at that time that it was indeed our titan (as did very few). As the siege timer ran out the remains of BoBs support fleet warped back in on a sniping spot, and our dreads immediately cynoed out of system. So right now, BoB holds the system with the mother of all scary cap fleets inside, but D2 has gotten an enormous moral boost. At my count theres currently 7 BoB posses in reinforced, well see what the future brings. Hurrah for battlereports! This should have started the first page of the thread. Sounds like a pretty normal fight, with a simple but beautifully executed trap layed at the end of it. Looks like BoB tactics have to be reworked again, and the northern front just got a little more deadly. Be careful though, I'm sure BoB tacticians (DC) are foaming at the mouth to figure out a way to kill the thing when it's logged off that you haven't anticipated.

The issue would be if same kills across D2 vs BoD boards are not same o.O So far out of 15 kills i compared from the D2 KB vs the BoD KB -- 6 kills which indeed have destroyed items are on the D2 but NOT on BoD killboard. The checks will continue and will post detailed results soon.

Sorry, but the absurdity of the whole thing and that some people would actually consider it... it's rather telling.
