Ill give it a try...
Yesterday there were several (5 i believe) posses shot into reinforced in y-2, the support fleet mainly logged there.
So today we naturally decided to follow through, about 100 support + around 25 dreads and carrier support started laying siege to the remaining towers. After the first 2 towers dreads jumped out to refuell while support held the system with minimal bob presence.
After jumping back we continued with a large mini bob tower. Until then the situation looked a lot like the one in which we lost 9 dreads last time. BoB clearly noted when we started our siege runs, and as we neared the end of the second cycle a hostile cyno went up in system.
Shirke had decided to grace us with his presence, including support + carriers/dreads and moms.
At that time the BoB pos was around half shield, and the order was given to deactivate siege mode. Then both fleets warped in, first the D2 one at around 300km, the BoB fleet landed directly on the D2 dreads. At that time my heart sank into roughly the region of my shoes.
I expected Shrike to attempt to DD our support fleet to scare them off, so a new cyno near the pos was no surprise. However instead of for the first time seeing the light of judgement, my screen started going black, and a pretty number of BoB wrecks appeared on screen (after the obligatory yet minimal lag).
I laughed my ass off, though i didnt know at that time that it was indeed our titan (as did very few).
As the siege timer ran out the remains of BoBs support fleet warped back in on a sniping spot, and our dreads immediately cynoed out of system. Except me, i was scrambled by the pos.
Luckily the pos decided to cycle before enemy tacklers could get points on me.
So right now, BoB holds the system with the mother of all scary cap fleets inside, but D2 has gotten an enormous moral boost. At my count theres currently 7 BoB posses in reinforced, well see what the future brings.

The main thing is, the playing field is more level now. No more warping in your fleets with impunity. I would have liked to have heard what BoB's comms were like when you realised you'd all just been suckerpunched.
Hell, least D2 killed your guys while they were online and didn't wait for him to log off.

In regards to the killmails with no modules.
It is something the game often does to reduce lag as far as i am aware.
On almost all the DD kills i have seen thus far almost all of them have zero modules.
there is exceptions of course, but i think its a bit much to accusse bob of editing killmails because of a well known feature.
if you actually look when they do a doomsday you will see that there is almost no modules on any of the killmails.
it would be nice to see them with modules for sure, but in the interest of defeating the lag monster, ESPECIALLY, for titan pilots i can see it as a necessary measure

a quick report ... for the details people
we were assaulting bob pos in y-2
we kept the main ships in our fleet at pos while dreads did their thing emily was already in position and waiting
several allied and internal intel sources confirmed bob massing capitals in 9-cg to go on the offensive probable target was d2 in y-2ano
all intel was recieved and fleet more or less slept thru bob's approach .
when bob forces arrived fleet was warped to pos outside of hostile pos range looking to make the appearance of supporting d2 fleet . imediatly after warpin the screen turned dark black our fleet warped out and then back in repositioned and it was done .
that simple .
no disrespect , no chest beating , it was great fun .

Hurrah for battlereports! This should have started the first page of the thread. Sounds like a pretty normal fight, with a simple but beautifully executed trap layed at the end of it. Looks like BoB tactics have to be reworked again, and the northern front just got a little more deadly. Be careful though, I'm sure BoB tacticians (DC) are foaming at the mouth to figure out a way to kill the thing when it's logged off that you haven't anticipated.

So far out of 15 kills i compared from the D2 KB vs the BoD KB -- 6 kills which indeed have destroyed items are on the D2 but NOT on BoD killboard.
The checks will continue and will post detailed results soon.

Yes; if you check DD kills on killboard.net they also show lack of modules on various killmails. See February 22nd and 9CG6-H kills for example -- battleships killed there list no modules and since these are enemy ships not ones of BoB, whole theory is pretty much attempt to push square peg in round hole.
Sorry, but the absurdity of the whole thing and that some people would actually consider it... it's rather telling.

I will not speculate on whether BOBs mails are edited.
What I DID notice at the time of my post you quoted was that I found 6/15 mails i looked at on D2 board with Destroyed Items were NOT posted at all on the BOB Kboard.

Re: Truncated Lossmails. Just remember its the Titan pilot who is flooded with potentially hundreds of killmails in one pass. I'm sure this is done to reduce his chance of disconnecting every time he fires the DD. Think back to the Goonswarm Velator storm and smartbombs...
Ok, time to talk about Titans since here's a clear instance of my favored team getting good use out of them. I think Titans are bad for EVE. Blowing up 40-100 ships with the push of a single button makes EVE worse not better. I think the excitement on these is going to wear off relatively quickly and we'll have to look at what they do game-wise. They both encourage massive fleets to catch and kill them, and punish massive fleets by blowing them up in one keystroke. Bad stuff.
Thumbs down on Titans. We're only going to see more and more of them unfortunately.

Ok, so you finally successfully deployed a titan. Shame it took the loss of your first one to pull it off.
As for this being the "end of bob" get over yourselves. Just yesterday BoB demolished a MM fleet, 40+ BS with their titan, does that mean MM is finished? Course not. And you've not accomplished enough in the south to justify any sort of proclimation of uberness, your first attempts at fountain were held off by a tossed together mix of anyone who lived nearby, most of whom didnt share a TS.
Grats on the successful DD, just dont fool yourself into thinking thats gonna stop BoB, or even the residents of their space.

First of all it was two titans at the same time. Second, it was a coalition fleet. The losses are spread through something like 7 alliances.
That doesn't make killing 40 BS with 2 titans any less impressive per se, but it doesnt have something to do with the significance of each individual kill. Of course, no one is claiming that one DD activation or indeed any DD activations standing alone were going to kill BoD, so this discussion is somewhat irrelevant to begin with.

If i were BoB id have 3 things to consider and id be very afraid.
1) D2 has produced at least 3 titans in the last 6 months or a year maybe even quicker
2) D2 ALSO has enough confidence in their titan production abilities to take orders for -A-
3) D2 probably therefore had their first titan before BoB even had theirs and possibly before ASCN.
Overall neither D2 nor any members of the northern coaltion have backed out of the war as Sir Mollie predicted...you are germany in both world wars, you are napoleon....If in game i could leave Mollie a pistol and let his character take the honorable way out i would.

Yes; if you check DD kills on killboard.net they also show lack of modules on various killmails. See February 22nd and 9CG6-H kills for example -- battleships killed there list no modules and since these are enemy ships not ones of BoB, whole theory is pretty much attempt to push square peg in round hole.
Sorry, but the absurdity of the whole thing and that some people would actually consider it... it's rather telling.

Anyone know when the Erebus BPOs were bought, the first ones?
If you figure that out, then figure in perhaps enough to research to 1 ME and then 1 TE, how much time would be left. Assuming you used all the remaining time in production, how many Erebus have been built?
I said to an earlier thread that I believe there have been at least a dozen titans built....however of those we have very few that we know the whereabouts of.
ASCN one destroyed
D2 one destroyed
D2 one active
2 BoB ones active
AAA one active
LV one active
MC one rumoured
That's 8 and I might be forgetting one, where are the other 3 to 4 that I'm pretty sure where built....
Its the sheer amount of minerals mined and sold, ships destroyed, etc. There are more minerals basically missing than should be unless more titans were built before the war started....

Wonderful work D2. Nice to see BoB get a splatting they can't lag their way out of, and another example that when fought on equal terms, BoB lose just as much as anyone. What i haven't seen talked about (i did skip the last 3 pages of this mess) is that according to the D2 KB, BoB also lost 3 large towers in Y-2ANO. While BoB can instantly replace lost ships and mods infrastructure kills are far more significant.
I would also like to compliment D2 on their general behavioral composure. This is something that these forums lack, and the elequence and grace D2 displayed (again, overall) is something that BoB could never rise to. Well played D2.

The western side mostly fountain has just been a pure battlefield, so that would mean harder to gain the necessities that one needs. Dont think your all high and mighty cause you built a titan in the north. Beacuse thats probably where the least amount of engangements occur, where alliances are stockpiled. You have much less to worry about up there, then south of your boarder.
