As of 21:50 eve time ISS has surrendered to KOS in C3-OYD.
We wish to thank our friends who helped make this possible.
In addition, we would also like to express our admiration to ISS for the manner that they conducted themselves during the last few weeks of combat. They have been enjoyable adverseries that engaged in combat even when the numbers weren't overwhelmingly on their side and did not engage in "smack". It was a refreshing change from normal fleet ops and I think both sides had some good times.

Nice work to KOS and good lick to ISS. There's a lot more fighting yet to be done for both sides.

ISS has gained my depest respect for the way they handled themselves in C3- . They fought great battles and were very honorable in their local chat. no smack, great fun. Cheers to you all.

Good bye to POS warfare. If there's one thing in EVE that's really depressing, it's playing 'POS pingpong'.
It's a good spot. Enjoy it.

Good job KOS. I always liked Count's vision with ISS, it's bad luck you ended up on the wrong side of this war. - http://dl.eve-files.com/media/0612/Jameswsig.jpg WeComeInPeace Video

Constant combat since december has been heavy on all sides, and this end has been a while in coming.
Now we can put this entire unfortunate "war" business behind us and concentrate on actual, profitable business.

Edited by: Tiuwaz on 27/02/2007 22:20:32 I have nothing but respect to give for the ISS members who have fought in in c3-.
It has been fun fights and they showed spirit even when outnumbered, and most importantly it was a very civil and respectful war in c3-, something which isnt that usual anymore.
Also Kudos to KOS they were very dedicated and deserve this victory. ___________________________________

To KOS you are all class chaps in my book. Its been an honor to fly next to you.
To the ISS pilots who killed and also died in C3- defending your home you are all class as well. Thank you for the very good local banter that kept such a boring game mechanic ( pos war ) very lively.
While we are still -ve to ISS, IAC will be pulling out of C3- and KW- to allow KOS and ISS to work without interference.
To the eager IAC that might post in this thread... if you have nothing good to say then don't say it. In fact, don't say it at all. KOS and ISS deserve the respect and dignity they earned fighting in C3-.
Until we meet again ISS best of luck.

Are ISS and KOS going to be working together / worked out a deal or is it a case of if KOS continue shooting them..?
But gj to ISS for withstanding such a number of players.

Bloody till the very end, it has been a drawn out battle. For a bunch of industrialists/profiteers we fought as hard as we could, now, to the victor goes the spoils. It was a fun few weeks and the rest of EVE could learn form us all as to how to conduct a war civilly. Enjoy the station KOS, we all know you deserve it. Thanks for all the fun coalition, we will meet in another life.

IAC are withdrawing from tenerifis for a 7 day period to allow iss to leave peacfully... i feel there is too much bad blood between alliance for us to ever be blue.. im sorry but this is the truth i know id get linched if i agreed to it as im sure iss leadership would get a lot of grief for doing the same this is the best option for us both http://members.aardvark.net.au/spacefrog/pics/elchief.jpg Signature filesize exceeds max limit of 24000 bytes. To retreat ISS has to go through your space, or make a massive detour. This is just funny again

Your leadership agreed to this.. i am in a convo with the count right now..... he isnt complaining.. i think you should give your leadership the respect they are due. For the record, there are a few of us who'd been willing to fight on until the the bitter end, but with KOS's large POS majority in system it was only a matter of time.
As I understand it, we have no intention of switching sides, this is us leaving the fight altogether. KOS & friends beat us fair & square. Now we can finally have a break from POS warfare. And the bugs....
C3 is a nice little station & patch of space IMHO. Take good care of her won't you?
