to expand on the above.....not only do they affect your own drones but they wil develop a severe dislike for their owner :)

Smart bombs damage your own ship?
I guess they aren't so smart after all...

I remember ages ago drones attacking their owner but I thought that was fixed ages ago. Drones will still go after you if you smartbomb them?

I am pretty sure drones don't attack their owners anymore. I remember it used to be if you NOS'ed them they would attack you, but I did that recently and it didn't happen. Probably part of the fix to stop them from randomly attacking your own gang members.

Smart bombs don't attack your own ship. You are like an EMP shockwave like in the Matrix movie when the ship sent out that shockwave. They exploid in a radius and do so much damage. The problem with a smart bomb is that if you accidently set it off in Empire and damage Concord they will beat on you. However they could be good in low space if your are being attacked by enemy drones to protect yourself.

They will also effect missiles.
