I think the battle-report thread named this "The war of Revelations" mainly b/c it went into full swing after revelations came out, plus thats just a badass name, if you ask me.

I think "the Revelations War" has a nice ring to it, especially since it matches on a lot of levels...the expansion name, the airing of dirty laundry that started all this with even more of it getting ready to surface.
So, Revelations War it should be, because it's also a kind of an apocalyptic reference. Tbh, in plain everyday language it would be the "My grandma and 2 aunts gossiping during coffee time, hurting egos and ruining reputations of every neighbour around war"
Either that, or "EvE Online: Serious Business", since some people can barely hold composure of themselves anymore

"Clash of the Titans?" Hardly.
The two mega-alliances have been too chicken to engage in a Titan vs. Titan title bout. Rather than engaging in a straight up fight, the focus of the war has been to deal with these deadly giants through the not-so-awe-inspiring practice of blowing them up while nobody is at the helm (ala massive capital shipyard assaults and lame-o aggrotimer logoff ganks), and leaving the unwitting Titan owner with quite an unpleasant surprise next time he logs on.
So I hereby dub this the "Dude, where's my Titan?!" war.
