Are you suppose to get a standing loss for offered missions when they expire? I know before castor you could let the timer run out and nothing would happen. Has that changed or is it a bug? Should I petition this?

I had a strange bug last night. I did log a Bug Report but I'll put it here as well.
I was reviewing a mission and had not accepted it. I had set my autopilot to the place I needed to go and accidentally undocked before I had accepted. I aborted undock and when I went to accept the mission, it was as if I had refused the mission. My level 3 agent wouldn't talk to me for 13 minutes and I lost stnading, so I couldn't run missions for her.
I don't know if this can be reproduced as I did not want to mess any more of my agents up. It was rather strange. Not sure if this has happened to anyone else.
This sounds like a similar thing to the guy above.

standing loss for quitting a mission in progress is still crazy high (0.3) tho refuseing a mission or letting an offer expire is a loss of 0.04 (seems fine)

Understood, this should mean I get back my pre-Castor '6.0' standing which was reduced to '3.0' post-Castor, correct? Or does this only apply to pilots who lost standings due to complete mission bug?

I guess this remark will be regarded as a random rant and it will be flamed by the involved parties BUT :
ZRAKOR what do you intend to do with the people who received tons of BPS and skills because the loot-table was totally fluked? Those people now have nice stacks of those items and can earn a bundle of money selling them on the market, unlike other people who didn't have the chance to do missions at the time ect...
Just a simple "oops we made a mistake" doesn't suffice in this case. Restore this unbalance please.
Sure all you lot who profited from the bug will call me a jealous ranter, but it are these kind of inbalances that are ruining the game.

well in anticipation of the patch I did bout 500 missions on various accts I had 5 chars with lvl 3 agents
now I'm down to 1 , the patch has restored none of the agents I lost
I lost 1 agent due to him turning in to a research agent (of course I only had that one on 2 accts) Aid Hieur for Roden , I was under the impression we'd receive a new agent in this case.
I lost 1 lvl 3 agent due to that slaver mission failing
And the 4th due to a mission incomplete
On my last acct I'm down to my last agent now
I checked everything apparently corp standing was restored but not agent standing so basically nothing was fixed imo

Are you aware that after the server HotFix agent standings have not been corrected.
I had 2 missions for 2 different Astral Minning agents who both said great mission completed and then when i went back to the station the missions still where waiting the 'i have finished' click.
My standings because of these 2 'failed' missions are still -.01 instead of the .07 i was at.
Also I have an agent for federation customs who is spamming me every few minutes with 'I can no longer await your response to my offer. I am displeased by your indecisiveness.' the agent is Brune Fallkin and my standings with them is steadily dropping am now at -.03
If you could acknowledge that the dev team is aware of these issues that would be great and we can all rest easy as I know I am not alone in this situation.

We still have people being told they've failed courier missions after completing them remotely and being paid. We still have kill missions not dropping the loot. Zrakor, as you seem to be keeping an eye on this thread, I thought i'd just tell you about a mission briefing error I had last night.
It was given to me by my lvl 3 Ammatar agent
I had to go and kill a Sanshas rat at a gate in the system, but the description of the mission kept refering to Blood raiders. Not serious, but was kind o' starange.
Also are you aware of the mission briefing text changing during the mission I've had this issue a couple of times. On one occaision it seemed to change to the mission I had just completed

I have the exact same problem occurs only when i open the Journal so far the time has expired about 108 times judging from the no of messages waiting for me.
The loss of faction rating at 0.5 ish is so bad i petitioned under missions in progress after all i cant do much if i cant open the Journal to find out what im meant to do. No reply to the petition as of yet. Im at work and cant get on eve at the mo.
Any news on this one would be greatly appreciated.

This morning I did a lvl3 agent mission that said it would give an implant and it was no bonus things involved, just like the type as before patch for implants but other goods to fetch, and I had 2 h to compleate it but it was rather close so it took less than 20 minutes to fullfill as the dest was where my agent is. so I got a successfull mission but no reward not anything but the colleteral paid back????
So 20 mins for nothing realy..and I was so eager to see if I would get anything else than the usuall implant I already got a lot of before the patch...if not the invisable type :)

Actually the "completing the mission remotely" and npc kill loot not dropping bugs were tested quite a bit and weren't occuring to us on Tranquility. I would need some verificating before I believe this rumor.
As for the agent telling you your offer has expired, that may have happened after the offer expiry period was changed from 1 month to 24 hours, during the "hotfix".

Alrighty then, let me go and look up the names of the close to ONE HUNDRED people I had to tell to file petitions because exactly that had happened to them, either this morning or since downtime today.
Maybe someone official should be in the help channels to see that for themselves

My level 3 agent is still not accepting me. I lost him due to a mission bug (kill the theif) and the HotFix did not change anything for me.
My rating is still down with him and it is not going up at all. All I can do is level 2 agent missions now and after competeing about 4 of them my rating with my level 3 had not changed nor has my standing with the corporation for whom I am doing the missions.

Some missions are still effed. Rogue slave trader mission is junk. The agent takes your prisoner and nothing happens.
Oh yeah, congratulations to everyone who got stacks of blueprints and skillbooks due to bugs. OMG you so lucky!!! >_< Big patches are one big f**king lottery.

Can someone please help a noob out. I started the first training mission and I am now stuck, having completed the mission, and recieved my reward, and yet the agent still says the mission is incomplete. This makes learning the game difficult as I cannot progress. I tried moving back to the station that I was supposed to take the certificatons to and then coming back, still nothing. Is there any help for a noob here?

I'm having issues with agents taking prisoners and also data sheets, and then claiming that the mission isn't complete. Had this happen three times since patch. The famed Rogue trader mission, both yesterday, and also today after downtime, and just now Stop the thief.
Fairly annoying, I must say. Think that for now I will not accept any mission that require me to bring any of the 'special' items anywhere. 
I did notice that the items that the agent stole this way, did not have the (1) in the lower right corner, while both the slavers that I got in my hangar now, do.
Incidentally. Anyone from Oracle want to buy those... Or P.I.E... Highest bidder can have 'em.

first of, i would like to say that i had my lvl3 agent working the first day, i got a mission i did it... i got that mission error that couldnt complete so the mission failed then.
they said faction would be fixed, i guess it was but now my agent is telling me i need a a faction or so of 4.6
tahts funny because before the max with lvl3 agents was 6... so everything is half.. i started with 3...
but now he wants me to have 4.6 to talk to him? how fair is that... that fail mission as not my fault i did it... its a bug so i dont see why it shouldnt be fixed, so i could use that agent.

Hmm does anyone care about people who only trying to get agents? My corp standing going up by only 0.01 every mission what I do. Quality of agent and level doesn't matter. I have in corp old L3 agent and bunch od level 1 and 2 agents.
My corporation standing is around 2.99 so I can't use any other agent from that corporation because they need at least 4.5 standing. Does anyone imagine ho w long I need to do mission to get past 4.5? It's 166 missions! Get real now when one mission is average 35 to 40 minutes?
Yes standings improve by mission was lowered but to this extend? It's harsh! I want to play with guys in corporation not do months only agent missions.

I¦m pretty confused about the agent system. I could immediately access all Lvl3 agents of an amarrian corp i had a standing of 0.21 with. After 10 missions it grew to 1.32. I checked the standing transactions and had a "important" mission that gave me 9.3% standing increase.
Is that intendet?

Guess I have to chime in also. The first mission I did with my level 3 agent after patch (on the 17th) I completed remotely, collected reward and colatteral. I returned to the agent's station and it was like I never did the mission. I lost standing and now I cannot run anymore missions for this agent. Today is the 19th, after hotfix and I still cannot run missions for this agent.
So, at least for me, hotfix didn't resolve situation.
But aside from this minor snfu I love this patch.

Still cant talk to my lvl 3 agent, been 2 1/2 days now and only been able to do compelte 1 lvl 3 missions.
I think the problem in my case is because i got refferd to my lvl 3 agent 2 days before the patch and only did 15-20 missions for her my standing was never going to be high enough to use her on castor. Currently my standing to her is 2.81 and it needs to be 3.25.
I was under the impression that any lvl 3 agents we had before castor would still be available to us after the patch (standing being irrelevant) and for one mission she was. however after failing a mission she has realised i dont have the standing to use her. Restoring my standing to what it was before castor wont work considering she was reffered to me, not given to me based on my standing.
Whatever was done to flag up the fact I could use her without the correct standing on the introduction of castor, needs to be done again. |

Everything is great. Thanks for fixing my completion faction lose. I did the rescue mission and killed that 20k rat. I got my damsle. CCP rocks. Not only did i get 31k isk from my level 2 agent i got a 31k isk time bonus....... EVE is the greatest game and I am getting more people to start playing.
