KIAEddZ Caldari KIA Corp KIA Alliance	Posted - 2007.03.03 10:03:00 - [1] First the KIlls/Deaths bit. 184 Kills - 33 Losses HIghlights 24 BS Killed 10!! Lost 7 Hacs and 4 Command Ships Killed Total Damage inflicted about 5.6 Billion, total damage sustained about 1.3. Just Over 80% Eff. So to the meat, how has it been. We are stationed as requested in Khitaled, for those that dont know it is 5 jumps from the 0.0 entrance to Querious. When we started last week, the hostiles were spread out from agil though to Badivefi, with a high concnetration in Badivefi, which is 2 further jumps down the single route pipe closer to the querious entrance. To say that KIA is outnumbered, is to say that George Bush might be a little bit driven by monetary gain ;) At the beggining of the week, numbers in Agil and Kihtalid were reguarly, if not constantly higher than total KIA pilots in system. Gradually we have worked those numbers down, forcing out marks to gather in thier chosen "home" system of Badivefi. The pipe line to that system must then pass KIA base of Ops. You'll note that KIA has lost 10! BS, which is v unusual for us. The reality is we are up agianst overwhelming odds. We lost 8 BS in one fight, where we engaed with 18 Blaster BS at the gate, vs 34 Hostiles.... we were doing very well until another 20+ jumped into us, and then i got forewarning from my scouts that a further 30 were just 2 systems away, and jumping already to next door, I called our pilots out, and lost 7 BS doing so... a lesson well learned, teh blob was gonna pwn us if we didnt get careful. On wednesday Triumvirate entered the war, deccing KIA on behalf of their friends. We expected Tri to bring it to KIA face on, we know they would relish the test of thier skills vs us, but unfortunatley the 2 engagements we have started with these guys so far, have been interrupted by large blobs from their friends, I am assured by Tri that this is just random luck, and they aren't calling for the backup... there is time yet of course for our 2 PvP based Alliances to slug it out, it may happen, if so should be fun. 2 large engagements have gone our way though, with our blaster BS crew killing 12 and 11 hostile BS and Cruisers for 0 losses in fights where we were fasing a 2 to 1 neg ratio, and of course there are the ganks... our Nano'd gank squads have worked round the clock, picking of targets in systems filled with hostiles, taking down fleet prepped BS, and doing what we are I guess, paid to do. Cause trouble. The smack, whilst unfortunatley has existed, has been tolerable, and overall the week has been good for us, we have had our fingers burnt, and we have learnt some lessons, we have been blobbed by 100+ ship gangs loads of times (with local smack o course) and we have seen our fair share of typical Alliance Mark warfare. With 2 weeks left to go, we are hopeful that we can maintain the pressure (I am sure that the Marks will claim we are having no effect at all, but our employer states otherwise) and KIA Alliances first contract will be the success we are determined to make sure it is. To Rzr and Irn, great fights most of the time, and it so far has been top quality to pit ourselves against your tactical manouvres and ops. Tri... bring it boys, you know you want to know, and we are happy to answer. Pure and Schism... Hopefully we will see a little more of u in the coming week. Also ince you are a pvp entity you cant have sheep in your sif. Go for COWs IMO Arguably my opinions represent to an extent the opinions of my alliance and in particular circumstances give rise to a valid "casus belli" claim.

Good job so far KIA, it's been fun dodging your gangs on the way to 0.0 choke points, it's usually very boring out there. Numbers could be better considering the amount of targets you got but I think some coalition dudes have learnt their lesson.

Eddz, it seems that you guys are not posting all your losses (nothing to do with current campaign though), even though i know you guys have been told about missing post¦s on your kb. Look at Thursday, February 22nd in the Kia and Outbreak killboard and there you will notice that Kia has not posted 2 losses

Not only don't you kill enough ships to brag about (any serious small size corp would kill twice more in a week), but your main objective (disrupt the Empire-Querious line) isn't accomplished, even with cheap tactics like nanoships. You don't even slow down the pipe for each day operations. The only reason why you're still in business is because you make lots of noise on the forums who are your free advertising page. If not for that, you'd be history. And I'm not flaming, honestly, it just that it ticks me off to see you, Essz, regularly chestbeating when you achieve nothing special.
