Lol, remember i heard your corp name somewhere. Ahhh you're the nublets that are losing all the carriers.
The way to kill carriers quickly nowadays is ... ehrrrm wait...NOS???
nub
This argument is getting rather old. I suggest coming up with something new.
We lose carriers because we actually pvp in them, sometimes against the odds.
Let me guess, would we lose our nublet status if we kept our carriers docked and never took a loss? Think about the logic you're using.
And I won't even get into your advice for gate camping. I recall destroying your post in the other thread last week.

hum .... what ??????????? u mean warping at 60 km and jamm ? o at 0km and miss them all ... " omg , why everybody is locking at me ? damn im down ^^ "
If you want to tackle something, a scorp with warp disruptors+webbers and lots of NOS, EW and a slim tank fitting ain't to bad. Plug in some sensorboosters.. With 4 such tacklers, spread around a gate with a large bubbles, then I think they will be more successfull holding small gangs down, than frig-size ships, as they can't be ganked easily.
Such a scorp will cost 30 mill isk to loose. T2 fitted T2 frigs normally cost the same... They are however not that usable. And that omg-I-am-primary-because-I-am-in-a-scorp thing is bull****.. someone have to be primary anyway.. might as well be you.
Actually, 10 carriers, 20 scorps strikes me as a nice gatecamp...

You did what?
Didn't read it really. I usually ignore the october snow posts, as anybody else on this forum.

Passive tank ? ... and you are repping what exactly?, and with what cap ?,
Ever hear of T2 Medium Drones ?, they erase frigs.

I run a cap injector on my crow now, had 2 heavy nos on me while tackling a raven, never once had mwd or scram go offline.

I presume you're thinking of armor tankers; shield tankers (the Drake, notably) do passive tank quite efficiently. You can sit back and smile while your already fit-crippled cap withers away to nothing, to no effect at all on your side and much-reduced effect on the opponent (slow recharge and no cap boosters means they don't get as much benefit from sucking you dry). In the meantime, your shield is regenerating faster as it approaches the 20% mark, and your opponent is wondering why, despite three minutes of continuous nossing, your tank hasn't *****ed.
The main problem is, building one like this seems to mean dedicating every mid- or low-slot on the ship to the tank. Best have someone else do the tackling.
Oh-- and if you get the chance to warp off while or immediately after being nossed? You're not likely to complete the warp if you headed for a distant gate or planet. Instant safespot.

Agreed, but with rigs now you can spare a mid or two, assuming you are willing to risk them. Not as efficient as ganging, but it made solo a TAD more viable imo.

If your tackling, then a small nos will allow you to keep the point on for ages.
In a frig you lose most if not all of your cap against a heavy nos each time it cycles. If you have your own nos (a small nos). you get 4 cycles in before losing all your cap again. Which will keep a disruptor running (hopefully) over the dead spot where you have no cap. -----
