I would like to hear what people are doing to counteract the nerfing of spped in Eve. I don't think many enjoy the slowing of the MWD's or AfterBurners, so, what are people's setups for getting there speed reletively back to where it was?

Kestrel + 1 MWD + 1 AB + 2 overdrives
Blackbird + 1 MWD + 3 AB (eats cap though, far from a good setup)

Meganewton 100's in cruisers. Parking ships in different areas and shuttling around in frigates.
Oh, and Minmatar ships.

apoc with 1 quad lif MWD, and 4 30m/s overdrives. It gets to about 1500m/s with 1 burst

Overdrives for speed, Nanos if I have a lot to carry.
I like a Griffin with a MWD, an AB and 2 mid slot cap chargers (with all Eng and Nav skills at 4, still seems not to recharge fast enough between warps without chargers). Low slot OD or Nano.
Gonna try breacher and Vigil as well, will likely get up to higher speed with less cap use, so maybe won't need the cap charge.

2 mn100 mwd for my apoc
1k+ in less than 10 sec
I also tried it on raven and megathron with same result
80% cap when i hit the gate
travelling is just like before the castor was intruduced.
Must be my skills.. lvl5 caps bonus, lvl5 cap recharge, for nav only the prerequisite to use mwd

Frigates....a need for speed...my Heron hits about 2000m/s now ...
1 MN mwd and a overdrive engine....my pod would be safer but not as fast ...

My setup for agent missions:
Vigil
2x Basic Overdrives
1x Reactor Control
2x 250mm Light Artillery (for them damn low end npc missions)
1x 1MN Microwarp drive
Max speed is 2.8KM/sec.

My agent Vigil uses 3 named overdrives, 1 1mn AB, and 1 1mn MWD. You need good (actually, GREAT) fitting skills but with my high navigation and acceleration control I hit 5-6km/sec on 1 burst of the MWD. 
For battleships, a Quad LiF MWD is the way to go. Preferably with a couple overdrives or nanos (nanos might not boost cargo, but they don't SHRINK it and ODs do)

For quick travels with not much need for cargo space or firepower my trusted old Tristan can hit 5km/s within a few sec. and tops 8.8km/s with dual 1MN MWDs. The Thorax is still resonably good with a 10MN MWD, a 10 MN AB and an overdrive (don't know the top speed, but at least its on the right side of 1km/s). Haven't tested any new indy or BS setups yet...

I was a little worried that my cute little Punisher would be slower now, but it's not really noticeable. With a 1MN MWD it still does 1400 m/s, and it can do it almost indefinitely now, instead of 15-20 seconds before the patch.

Sustainable for 1 min 5 secs

You're a Minmatar. Grab a Minmatar ship. 2650m/s was actually incorrect. Didn't have the injectors in the low slots. With injectors:

does 3km/s after about 2-3s with 310 cargo

Rifter with 2 standard 1MN MWD's
goes around 14km/s for 10 seconds :)
nuf to make it to the gate
and u recharge fast enough to warp ... warping doesnt seem to take THAT much cap on a rifter

I haven't experimented too much, but I've been flying around in my old Thorax. Two 10 MN MWDs, 1 top-of-the-line Nanofiber, and 4 +20% cap rechargers.
One burst takes me all the way to the gate/station and it does it at 4,100 m/s. Cap rechares so fast that this setup will never run out of cap traveling, esp with good navigation and cap skills.
