No big consipiracy, really- D2 and IRON are the big cahoonas in the north. One of the main reasons FLA and Tri are blue to each other atm is because Tri is blue to IRON and D2 for the duration of the war. When Tri stop being blue to IRON and D2 (which will be when they've all decided the war is over), FLA will stop being blue too.
Last I checked, Tri like having lots of red on their overview, so I doubt they'll be angling for Naps after its absolutely necessary

I applaud this move. My personal thanks to all the people that made this happen. Not because of any special feeling toward TRI, but because our focuses can be set toward our (quite dangerous) common enemy again. I look forward to fight side by side with TRI, and let there be plenty of opportunity for that.

Nah, its more good common sense. If we want to fight alongside IRON fleets, say, which have Tri in, we'd just end up killing each other, which is totally not productive. If IRON were fighting Tri, then that problem wouldn't come up, and the impetus for us to drop our long traditional war with each other wouldn't have been there.
Not that I object- Tri are great PvPers, they're 90% smack free, and I've got a friend or two in Tri it'll be nice to not have shooting me
No one knows just how Tri fight like FLA do- we know they're an ally worth having

IRON have not told FLA to do anything. In fact, I spoke to both parties and urged them to talk and thats all. FLA were kinda aggreived at IRON have TRI +ve, but we are seperate alliances working towards a common goal, and therefor have seperate standings. FLA and TRI came to this decision on their own, with no outside help. I am sure that no influences of either D2 nor IRON will make any bearing on the decision they make when it finishes, irrespective of the OP first post (No disrespect inteded to Slinktress in that statement)
I find it great that personal differences can be put assunder in times like this. And it shows how much that FLA and TRI have both grown in recent times. It's great to have allies and enemies like this. They all have good heads on their shoulders, and know when to let the head take over from the heart.
Much respect to both FLA and TRI!
To Slinktress and Darkness : Big decisions like this are not easy to make. And it takes big people to make them ;)
To the rest, to clarify the slave situation.

having joined FLA fairly recently, most of us in [PJI] know very little about the TRI/FLA background...i'm happy whatever it is has been put aside for now tho. we had some great fights against you guys, and FLA has learnt a lot, but i'm glad that we'll be directing our pew pew towards the same target for now
