Well my love for solo piracy seems to be short lived.
I know of still a few pilots that get the buzz from solo pwnage but it seems to be a dying profession.
Now i know that ccp has said on many occasions that eve is not a solo game but i have the utmost respect for ppl who take an expensive ship out solo and pirate/pvp in hostile lands but it seems to be happening on fewer and fewre occasions due to the number of ppl who prefer to be in large groups.
So i'm curios, does this bother ppl?
is there anything that can be done to encourage solo pvp?
is the upcoming nerf on speed bs going to reduce further solo pvp'ers?
does anyone really want to solo anymore or just myself?
am i just rambling because i have had too much vodka redbull tonight?

Yes i wrote this thread while hammered but the meaning behind it was true.
It would seem to me that areas are very different. after pirating around sinq laison and domain for nearly a year i have found that you do get solo pvp'ers, 90% noob npc'ers, and the rest the occasional blob. But in certain areas it seems that any target you find is bait for the blob next door.
Well i love to solo, small group, medium group and will continue to do all.
altho it seems like force recons and speed reliant ships are the solo choice of the future maybe.

if you can't solo you need it
see i don't mind the useless trolls that bring nothing constructive to threads but if you're going to then at least try to be funny or clever or something to entertain us.
i don't believe i ever said i couldn't solo and if u want to check my killboard then i'll message u the link and u can stfu.
the point is when i see a solo pvp'er i rush to engage him to have a great 1v1 fight but it is extremely rare these days and ppl seem to prefer larger groups meaning 90% of do-able targets are noobs npc'ing or maybe generally groups of noobies pvp'ing.
but it seems to vary hugely depending on the region i've found also.

As for your kilboard I couldn't care less, our recent experience with veto is they don't even post their loss mails, though that said Verone atleast was good about sorting it out. Speaking of killboards isn't the top plaer on yours a member of my corp? Maybe its you who shoul STFU?

me thinks someone needs to chill a little and realise my point of this thread, which is simply to establish whether ppl are still interested in solo pvp or not and it appears by replies here that ppl do which is reassuring to hear. I am very much enjoying eve atm thank you for your concern.
and personal digs at my corp will just make me laugh OUT LOUD
any losses missing from our killboard feel free to let me know and i will make sure they are posted.
pls feel free to continue making things up and slating every thread u go onto. have fun

hell yeah i know ur good for them. our last fight was pretty good fun. a rather close match and felt wrong handing so much t2 gear back to ya but hey, we fought on and off so so long it hardly matters.

hehe yeah. tbh i was aligned to station and then realised that u might come from there so hit a burst of the mwd. some serious dps from that ship.
And yeah zeroh's mach is a fun ship to fly with. remember that apoc that was getting close to the gate. u bumped that guy about 70km away and out of range of all of us apart from u
gave me some giggles.
