I started out solo killing, as most people have read about my escapades. It was good and bad, I sure lost a TON of ships! But I also never ran from any fights (Incursus vs Nighthawkątwice) I got some good kills solo, some cruisers, some frigs, bunch of barges, one stealth bomber ect. But recently my corp has EXPLODED in size and I have not flown solo since.
Comparing the two very different experiences is hard as both are fun but honestly I think flying in a group is more fun as last night my corp mates had me laughing so hard I could hardly see the screen. Some of the banter in local with the guys we are at war with was HYSTERICAL! And simply the ability to take down ships I know there is no chance I could take alone, Moa last night, Enyo the night before, makes for a blast! Especially when no one cares about losing ships and we are stealing every can in every belt of a system in 5 min or less! (and then we hunt the red flashys!!)

we are one of the few pirates left that solo a lot. i prefer solo roaming in a jaguar (used to be a hurricane till i lost it to a CTD), because it has the firepower to take down everything up to tier on BC with ease, and can tank decently whilst doing it.
the only problem is, i often come across targets that im unable to kill, like battleships that aggro me but cant track me and stuff, so when i call in help. we get accused of being blobbers. its not that we like to blob, but people in my corp are so desperate to be on a killmail that when i called for help once against two armageddons, a corpmate brought his Moros just so he could look cool on the top of the mail.
that and i cant convince anyone else to fly in an AF and go on roams, so i do it alone.

see i don't mind the useless trolls that bring nothing constructive to threads but if you're going to then at least try to be funny or clever or something to entertain us.
i don't believe i ever said i couldn't solo and if u want to check my killboard then i'll message u the link and u can stfu.
the point is when i see a solo pvp'er i rush to engage him to have a great 1v1 fight but it is extremely rare these days and ppl seem to prefer larger groups meaning 90% of do-able targets are noobs npc'ing or maybe generally groups of noobies pvp'ing.
but it seems to vary hugely depending on the region i've found also.

Lately I'm flying a BC a lot. Similarly to Kublai in the t1 cruisers, I think that lighter faster ships are the win for solo. You need to pick your spots and pick your targets but there is a lot to be said for filling your hold with ammo and just GOING, not coordinating with anyone or anything.

joking aside tho, sinq laison and the surrounding regions are fairly blob free on the whole so soloing is still viable. i love solo pvp and still do alot of it

As for your kilboard I couldn't care less, our recent experience with veto is they don't even post their loss mails, though that said Verone atleast was good about sorting it out. Speaking of killboards isn't the top plaer on yours a member of my corp? Maybe its you who shoul STFU?

I m trying solo piracy, though it seems the only targets you ll have fun with are other pirates, as the rest is unexperienced new players badly fitted or respectable 0.0 corp who will blob you.

Solo pvp is great , been doiing it all my eve career .
I lost ****load of ships but its so much fun , rlly gets my hart goiiing .Only downside is the grinding killing npc to get new money to pimp a ride and get out there again.
Latly its hard to find fair fights , i go looking for few hours after targets that are doable till i get fed up and i try find a trap some guys put up and i try kill as many before i pop or get out .
Solo pvp gives you more fun then sitting in a gang listening to one guy calling the shots .Though on teamspeak it can be fun and sometimes you just need to be in a gang to fight biger gangs .
Not to mention when you take out 2 bc in your bc you feel great , or when you kill 2 bs in your bs etc

I like solo or 2-3 people better because it's really rare that you get an actual fight when you go out in a large gang. When you do get another large gang to engage yours you can get some pretty epic fights, but most of the time you just get lots of ganks.

Soloing has been kinda weak for all but a few shiptypes since Revelations 1. You guessed it: nanoships. FOTM.
I think soloing will become a lot more fun (for those of us who haven't happened to have already trained for that FOTM) in general when the bs-that-can-outrun-an-inty is nerfed. Suddenly, a lot of other setups will be reintroduced as viable in solo pvp. Unfortunately, if they do it wrong it will screw over pvp in general (solo and not). (CCP, just renerf istabs please :S)
Anyway, I enjoy soloing, when/if it is doable. I did solo piracy back before rev. Now that I'm in a wardec/merc corp, though, soloing isn't very wise :) Sometimes I miss solo piracy. On the other hand, I don't miss entering a system and having everyone in the system dock or log off... oh, wait...

The never ending hitpoint boosts have screwed over solo pvp. 99% of fights am going into a hostile local average 5 or so I have to find get one (depending on ships of course) on his own drop him then rinse & repeat.
But with revelations trying to drop a bs or bc before his blob arrive is much harder. And this is in a blasterthron so I cant do anymore dps & even when the blob catches me I only die to cap out because of nos as it takes so slow long to chew through all the hp I despise the never ending hit point boosts which lead to longer fights therefore more blob & nos.
So I turned to nano setups in rev & found them a good counter to the slow moving super tank nos blobs which are pvp today. However with the so called "nano nerf" coming I feel it will be an end to solo bs pvp.
Will nefing nano bs stop solo pvp no it wont, but it will all be crap cruisers, frigs, hacs etc

hell yeah i know ur good for them. our last fight was pretty good fun. a rather close match and felt wrong handing so much t2 gear back to ya but hey, we fought on and off so so long it hardly matters.

hehe yeah. tbh i was aligned to station and then realised that u might come from there so hit a burst of the mwd. some serious dps from that ship.
And yeah zeroh's mach is a fun ship to fly with. remember that apoc that was getting close to the gate. u bumped that guy about 70km away and out of range of all of us apart from u
gave me some giggles.

it's posible with amicrowarpdrive to get a battleship over 2000 m/s easily, and upwards of 3000/sec or even 3500 possibly higher

Solo PVP is fast dying, in part because blobbing is the thing to do, and because 1v1 most solo ships can't handle nano*****s. I don't go solo in big ships anymore without a scout/ceptor, which I guess technically isn't solo
I do still solo in cruisers and (quite expensive gistii rigged) ceptors, though.

I like soloing, but whenever i take expensive ships there always seems to be a gate camp or a corp im at war with gets 20 members do chase me around (i get away but i wanted to stay )
But yeah i like soloing uptill a big gang shows up then i get p1ssed
