Anyway yeah, there were some good times during the JQA days, syndicate was a fun place back then. Alot of bitterness for those who stuck around in the fallout of the whole supremacy drama too; and I dont doubt some folks still hold a few grudges, but then thats eve for you.
Still, always interesting to look up the familiar faces from those days and see what people have gotten upto since then.

Lol, must admit I held a fair amount of ill feeling toward LFC and co but it was all IC and RP based. All in the interesting past that makes Eve such a great game to play even after all this time.
Still good to see were red though ---------------------------------------------- We can't all be heroes, because somebody has to sit on the curb and clap as they go by |

Let a good old dog rest :)
JQA was great in its own way, but had many flaws too.
You could also ask Aegis Osiris about the charter, he was quite politically involved.
/me sometimes still wakes up at night with dreams about VV-VCR battles.
wow that was one hell of a war :)

Indeed the memories. In fact my time in Supremacy and fighting and then living around there weren't really that long, it still stands out. Flying in gangs with Maasu, Heid(Heiny)Banger, Tatzlwurm, Kayo(yea i know), Wizard, and the many other old-school OC/OTA peeps. Those were good times not just cause we got great fights from JQA at first but the quality of the people I flew with was so great. Wee Wee Dash Wee! lol I never forget that time me and Kayo in our t2 frigs taking on a larger force of JQA frigs, shoulda got fraps of that one. classic.

Wow so many names from the past here. I still look back on my short time in JQA as one of the best of my 2 and a half years playing. The battles for VV-VCR were beyond epic with 3-4 hour running battles. I'm still not quite sure how I got thru work on the pitiful ammount of sleep I was getting. I was already loving EVE by then but this was the point I turned into a true EVE addict.

Thought this was a full up necro thread, was getting read to break out the T2 Zombie spray and put it back in the ground
to the OP, TFC Arathorn was the original author of large portions of the charter, contact him in game as he's still around, and likely has a copy. I had little to do with the writing of it.
To everyone else, nice to see familiar faces Been one hell of a ride since then. JQA meant well, but was surely one of the original 'carebear first' alliances. We tried hard though, and it was fun to be sure. Sadly, I was at work during most of the epic battles for VV-VCR (biggest battles in EvE to that date, and for a bit afterward iirc). The one time I make it home early, I logged in, we ganged up, warp to the gate....and the node died lol.
Regardless, JQA was a good group of people, but the organization of it wasn't up to the rapid changes in eve leading up to and following the fall of CA. Internal issues just before the Supremecy attack didn't help matters much, either.
*shrug* these things happen.
The end days were less then fun as well, lotsa drama lol.
Still, I run into ex-JQA guys now and then, and regardless of what side we are on, always a 'hi' in local for it
Props to the old Supremecy guys, we got well and truly hosed, though alot of the guys were ok with it, the battles were so big :)

JQA was a good defensive alliance, holding just a few key systems made them hard to *****.

At some points we had gangs that were larger then that. I can remember a gang size of 98 (I only remember that number because it was so close to 100, yet never made it there.)
It was really cool to be a part of that, no matter which side you were on.

The battles for VV-V are still one of my highlights of the game, it was just epic... 3-4 hours battle, eventually my Megatron simply ran out of ammo, and I managed to loot some ammo from the can of a dead Megatron so I could continue :)
JQA was a nice little alliance but lost eventually due to internal problems and superior pvp forces.

Originally by: Leishent Hi,
The JQA alliance was before my time in eve, but I've heard good things about their charter and if a copy still exists I would like to read it. Tbh I would be interested in reading other charters as well. Corporation and alliance organisation is something that interest me on an orgianisational level.
It was my pleasure to be the last remaining High Council of the JQA. I only kept a few bits of data from the JQA days. It's been over 2 years now since I wrote the last statement on behalf of the JQA. As Recnac said, our forum were hosted by Trip Diesel at the time, and I asked him to pull the plug. So doubtful any data remains there. The only other people that may have it is Tar-om, TFC Grimwill, Maud, Chris Reed, Loomina or Dark Rain.
Yes JQA will always be a part of Eve history for the epic battles and the meeting with The Jove. Nice to see a few old faces :)
Well good luck with your Charter Hunting.

All I remember about it was that it was looooong, haha. Everything right down to individual belt allocations for different corporations. Hmmm...
/me looks through his old JQA folder...
...OK, I have a copy of my old corp's original application to the alliance which I wrote, a map of lower Syndicate that I made at the time after popular demand, screenshots of my kill records (I was such a proud little newbie, lol), a "battle report" style diary I wrote of the battles of VV-VCR (might post it one day for fun), a copy of the m0o contract that never really properly got off the ground...
...but no charter, sorry.

sweet work ben and kel
Thanks man. Sadly Kel has since unsubscribed but I'm sure he'd be chuffed at seeing that movie being dug up almost two years to the day since its initial release. I still remember the two of us were stoked at all the feedback we got at the time, then Seleene released the famous FoE contract vid like a day later and ours was promptly forgotten about soon after.
Anyways, it's good to see so many other familiar faces still around. Big waves for Maud, Crisis, Arboc, Nache, Chef, Sab, Sword, Dol, Looooooom, Aegis, Wicke, Number One, Tomski, Marty, Rich, Stainless, Hept, Nareau, Artharas, TFU, Chris, Scallen, Heed, Nartoth, Lore, F4ze, Talmssar, Mad, Algo, Missa, Missa's hotpants sig, Zorlondre, Ditch, Raazeal and all the forgotten others. Still miss yas.
EDIT: sorry Grimpak, forgot about you. But it's still your fault that I did.

Oh dear.
The charter was well written but had about a billion "May I:s","heretofors" and whatnot.
Since we're here on memory lane I might as well wave to all the old JQA,3FA,Supremacy and other locals such as DNA.

Thank you.
Though many of the suprm members have gone thier seperate ways since then, I think many of us still remember those fights we had, even if IMP, claims to have done it solo.
Even though the old Suprm members have gone to differant alliences and corps, we all remember standing side by side, and fighting it out untill the end, against a much larger force. A force who though they lost, can be said to put up one hell of a fight.
For me it marks a time in eve that sadely will never be relived. But the out come matters little now. Hopefully wwe can all look back and say "I was a part of that" and remember it foundly.
