zoltar	Posted - 2007.03.12 17:11:00 - [3] oops. pressed enter a bit too soon:) So, EVE is broke in so many ways atm it makes me sick. you all know of the millions of problems. So, what are you doing while waiting for EVE to be fixed? I have tryed Vanguard for about 20 min, then decided it was a waste of money. Then I tryed Lineage II and its sucking a fair ammount, but i am almost lvl 20 now. I just bought Guild Wars Nightfall yesterday, I havent tryed it yet but I hear it is nice PVP. I thought about trying WoW but all the horror story I hear about and I dont even want to go there. IS THERE ANYTHING OUT THERE THAT COMPAIRS TO EVE? Is there anything you play besides EVE atm while waiting for EVE to be fixed? Please dont flame me for just asking questions, If you dont like my post dont respond please. Those of you who want to have a discussion about what to do while EVE is broken please post on. I tryed making some food and taking a nap but when I loged in EVE was still the same.

And the lag is so bad blobbing around it just isnt fun anymore. Cant try invention because its "broken". Maybe my problem is (almost sure of it) that iv been playing 4 years now and kinda bored with everything. Id love to do missions but again the lag is too bad to do them.

Haven't won yet, not completely embartassed myself either and have been ready to throw the computer thru the window several times(for various reasons.) Then there are always those non-massively multiplayer games.

If the lag wasnt so bad doing lvl 4's id be as happy as a bug in a rug. I think when they change the missions it will help alot. but until then where can i get my fix? I need to get my heart pumping again without leaving my chair

I haven't been involved in 'big alliance' stuff for a long time, so I can't comment on how good/bad that is at the moment. The toilet needs fixing so that it can handle the load asked of it, no argument there. However in the meantime, you don't really want to crapping in the sink do you? The graphics are dated, but the story and gameplay, i.e. the things that count, are better. Oblivion is to Morrowind, as WoW is to EVE. Plus, there are vast numbers of mods that will improve the graphics on Morrowind, and increase gameplay and RP potential. Planescape: Torment and the Baldur's Gate series are also really good RPGs.

You might not be running them for the best agent in the game but they'll be pretty good agents and if you factor in the lack of lag you might well be earning faster anyway. the best quality agents always have 80 - 100 ppl in system grinding them, thats just the way it is unless you want to start from level 1 with a different faction in 0.0 or something and be exiled to lowsec for the rest of your eve career because all the empire factions shoot you ______________________________________

I've also been trying out Vanguard, which I think would be a decent game if it wasn't so buggy and you weren't always forced to group to do anything fun. Still on the fence as to whether or not to continue. Also, I keep logging onto EVE and telling myself I need to find a new corp, but then I think of the state of PvP anywhere I might go and I just lose the heart to do it.
