What the hay CCP! Now I gotta quit my corp because of a .08 standing. Because they are trying to get an 8.0 average with this particulr corp.
Their trying to get jump clones and they got over 100 people.
CCP because of your stupid game mechanics larg corps can't get jump clone or they have to not have an awsome person like me in their corp.
By the way this new corp I'm in is realy awsome, to bad I'll have to likely quit because of this.

Isn't there a corp that will let you buy jump clones with them?
If so offer to pay for him to use their service.

Why do i remember the name FArscape from way back when...ahyhoop.
If it's a corp you WANT, really want to stay in. Start grinding. If it's a good corp, a friendly one, they'll help you out. Grinding NPC standing with an "overpower" crew can be fun. Try to see if you could, if not allready have you do(yodayada), get some social skills. It helps more then you know.
I guess...umm...that's it really. I'd personally hate being in a corp that would kick me for that, but then again, i wouldn't want to be a part of any corp that would have me as a member

Thanks but I do have the social skills like Connection 4 but it does not show up in that list were all the corp members who have any standing good or bad are averaged out.
In that list your real score shows up

theres really few options for this. as mentioned above. 1.start grinding if you really want to stay with this corp. better yet start grinding with they guys that are trying to get that standing up. youll be much closer to that 8.0 by the time they're done that its more likely they will help you finsh up yours.
2.look into one of those jumpclone corps that you pay to join get your jumpclones and rejoin your corp. although this option is something you'll need to discuss with your corpmates. as for it to work on the corp everyone in the corp needs to do it to bypass the need for standing.
3. find another corp. probably the easiest option. although you could run into the same problom.

If he wants his corp to have jump clones with one particular corp he is just gonna have to not have anyone with average low standings like under 1.0 join the corp OR he could just by those jump clones him self, I'm not doing all that. Who would?

I would grind it out with this person but since standings don't get split, that kinda sucks for one of us.
I'm just going to quit and make sure the next corp I try to join does not want to try and get a 100 + corp to have an 8.0 average with an NPC corp.
there are other people they are going to have to boot out too, is every one with a standing sapposed to go crazy grinding with an NPC corp they have no intrest in?
Screw it I'm quiting.

Well that's cool, maybe if this new corp I'm in did something like that instead of pushing some HUGE grind, they would not have to refrain from inviting some good people into their corp and they would not have to have to boot them out if they don't get an 8.0 either.
What if he got the 8.0 and then someone is hired on accident that lowers their average? this guy gets booted out again? Because they all of a sudden cant get jump clones any more for the corp?

Tell the leadership in your corp that it'd be a lot easier for everyone involved to just have the two or three players with the highest standing to the NPC corp to form an alt corp (only costs like 1 mil isk or so). Then anyone who needs a jump clone can hop out of the original corp and into the alt corp for a day or two to create the jump clone, then go back.
Trying to maintain high corp standing to an NPC corp with your actual corporation of 100-200 players would be an uphill battle with new people always joining - and what if you need to relocate your corp HQ, or CCP sends your NPC corp somewhere else during a patch? Then you're screwed.
Your corp's leadership is a little inexperienced. They're trying to do something good for their corp (provide jump clones) but they're going about it all wrong.

I'm not sure they would want to do that if those guys would have to stay in the other corp

Sucks a bit but meh, anyway:
1) I thought they changed it so only personal standings was required for jumpcloens and corp level standings were not, a patch or so ago ?
2) Why not just go to EC-P8R and use the jumpclone service D2 provides there (as an anouncment was made saying no standings are required) yeh it's a dangerous system but all you need is to be in frigs and to put through a alt shuttle to check for any bubbles and you would be fine, would only need to do it once okay well twice once you jump to the clone then to get back to empire. That jumpclone then is available all the time and can be moved to any station you want.
My 2 cents

They changed it from needing both at 8.0 to only one at 8.0. You can use your personal standing to get jump clones or you can use your corp's standing to get jump clones.
To the OP: suggest to your leadership that one person runs missions exclusively for a NPC corp that nobody else has worked for and ban everybody else from working for that corp. The corp standing will then reflect that single player's standing. Once his standing hits 8.0 and the corp standing has adjusted to 8.0, then everybody can install jump clones with that npc corp.
Just make sure that: 1)the npc corp has medical facilities and 2)nobody else has standing or works for that corp. To check, look up your corp standings, right click on the corp, show composition. Anybody with standing will show up on the list and how much they're contributing to the corp average.

It seems to me though that you're quiting eve because the corp you are in atm are t**ts and as far as I'm aware that's not CCP's fault; there is nothing really wrong with the jump clone game mechanic as far as I can see. Stop being such a drama queen.

You did'nt read OP did you?
His Corp needs a +8.0 standing ON AVERAGE to get jump clones installed. OP has a 0.8 standing..he is drawing the rest of his corp average down.
This faction thing all well and good serves no purpose in Eve at this time. I waited to see what would happen, and so far not ****. Now all the hoop is for WIS and it appears faction warfare has gone out the window.

Are you crazy, I'm not quiting EVE, I'm just having to quit the corp I just got into because my one standing with an NPC corp is lowering the average, so I have to quit to not mess up their average for that NPC corp.
The sucky thing is I was not told this when I joined up with them.
So now I'm just going to go back to my old corp with me being the only one in it, woooopeee!

You Cant read either....Factions DONT WORK! Faction Warfare has not been activated yet! So his 0.8 draws the average of his corp down. And his corp in hole cannot get jump clone access at this station.

Sorry to hear your situation mate.
I've got to say I think this is a bit broken, because of the way null standing versus low standings works.
Where "I don't know you at all, never met you, never seen you", is counted above "Hi, I know you, you've done a few low level missions for me."
It actually works in my favour, but it doesn't seem right.

A agree, I mean you can't even hire a person you realy like into your corp because they happend to do a couple of missions for your JUMP Clone NPC corp?
I would hope this Factional Warfare bull fixes this stuff.
What the heck, it is stupid to try to have a NPC corp for jump clones for your whole corp when you are not able to invite anyone the has a low standing with them. That is just lame, I wish CCP would read this but hell they won't.

Thanks but the sad thing is that this efects every one, someone could look at your standing and not except you and you might never realy know why. Or however one would want to describe the bull of this siduation.

It is stupid to actualy be worse off because you are in good standings with NPC Corps but have like a .08.
What are we sapposed to do, only work for one corp, that is boring and dose not happen anyways.

and jump clones is only 8.0 with a corp the prob realy starts when u want to set up a high sec pos with a corp with more than 20 members, they all need to grind their mains and alt to get a high standing

How's this for a plan to put to your corp directors?
Get everyone to list what positive corp standings they have with ALL NPC corps. Get someone to set them out in a table (Excel or summat) with names down one side and corps along the top. (You have corp forums?)
Then pick a really obscureNPC corp that no-one has used and no-one has standings with, then ONE person in the corp grinds standings with that NPC corp.
That saves any players in your corp from getting kicked, but you'd need to make sure no new members are taken on if they have any standings at all with that NPC corp, or they will get kicked until they are 8.0+
Seems a real shame to retroactively kick current members.
