I disagree, the whole point of a powered exoskeleton is to give you that strength, it basically makes everything you pick up light as a feather. What you really need is endurance, to be able to keep on moving over and over again. It's definitely not science fiction.
Exoskeletons don't even need any strength or endurance at all, there are versions that enable paraplegics to walk upright.

I'd disagree, to my mind the exoskelton is what allows allows you to carry the 1000lbs armour plating , and the 250lb rifle, doesn't nesacarily mean it's going to feel 'light as a feather' cos if it did they'd likely bolt more bits on to maximise it's potential.
Just my thoughts on the matter.

Yes, but you've already established yourself as an idiot and bigot earlier in this thread so you're lack of understanding in regards to anything is understandable. |

Miss Pavlichenko She was one of the most successful snipers in history and by extension one of history's greatest soldiers. She took down 36 other snipers. Not bad. Too bad she did it for a crap cause, but then the snipers she took out were also doing what they were doing for a crap cause too. Real life is kind of like 0.0.
If you consider the early Soviet Union a "crap cause" I don't really know what to tell you. People (read: Idiots) like to say it's because of the US that we're not all speaking German right now. The truth of the matter is that if anyone saved us from the Germans it was the Soviets. ( Although, to be honest, it was really a team effort and deciding on MVP really waters down the significance of all party's contributions.) |

Perhaps you should read my posts more clearly before labeling me.
Please feel free to quotes what you feel are 'idiotic' and 'bigoted' comments perhaps I could give you some insight into there context. So far we have discussed many thing's including 'roles where woman would be more valuable the men' ' The physical and psychological diffrence between the sexes' ' Our theories on how power armor really works' (well OK I might give you that one , that is a little idiotic).

All the pro arguments seem to want more creativeness when it comes to their character. Most con arguments on this thread are about it being unrealistic. Personally, I'm siding with the creativeness party. Realism isn't important in a universe like eve. Let's not forget that artillery, a weapon used in our current age, is used more now than railguns, a much more advanced and powerful piece of technology. Rustbuckets can defeat heavily plated beasts, despite the heavy ships having advanced weaponry (rustbuckets being minnie and heavy plates being Amarr/Gallente). There's so much more unrealistic things about this game too. Honestly, it's more realistic to have women-warriors than artillery beating railguns. |

Frankly for all we know dusk soldiers don't even have a gender as they are essentially modified clones bred for the battlefield. hence masculine traits should be prevalent as it makes more sense in that perspective.
I would think that if that were the case, then female traits would be better, more agile, less to hit etc. Its guns, not MMA. |

I know this will sound odd, but this thread made me realize and remember I have a visual fetish for female bodybuilders <--- just girls in bikinis with huge muscles
I mean, you all talking about women killing, sniping, stealth assassinating people, arty loading , yeah, women are gorgeous and "classical" shape is bollocks. All women are gorgeous and beautiful even if you can't stand their physiques, trust me, out there, every woman has a guy (or another woman) waiting for her, and I really believe it's kinda strange to not allow females, at least in concept.
Odd about the gender choice in the game, in a future setting it's kinda meaningless and purely cosmetic

Bad example. Anyone with the willpower to achieve that level of body sculpting would be an officer and would have several enlisted types to carry her pursegear.
