I really want a web, scrambler and an afterburner on my absolution. I also want a nice tank and at least 1 dmg mod fitted. Is it possible to do this in some way so your cap survives? I can use all relevant t2 modules and I¦m not poor.

I have looked at all the races T2 BC's and I been thinking: does the lack of a fourth slott on the Absolution (for a cap injector) make it the least popular choice of fleet command ships in PVP? |

That and the fact that it takes just one TD to screw up pulse's. :( --------------------------------------------------

Forget the warp scrambler. Just have a web and cap injector. Use 1 low slot for cap power relay? Surely with "7" and those base resists you can manage with the best armour tank in game!!!!
You probs only need 4 or 5 lows at most to armour tank the ship maybe even just 3 which leaves room for 2-3 dmg mods and a cap relay.
Insane waffling over from me for now.

Edited by: LUKEC on 18/03/2007 10:44:54 There is almost no way for your cap to survive in solo/very small group pvp without injector, you might get your recharge up to survive 1 heavy nosf while running 1 rep but that's it.
Little numbercrunching(and t2 rigs are a bit too expensive...) Let's use 2 beta relays and 2 ccc rigs and you get recharge down to 234s with 4218 cap and this gives you ~42 cap /s. Rep needs 18cap / s, pulses need cca 15cap/s (with conflag) and heavy nosf drains 10cap /s. Oh did I mention that with 1 rep you can't tank much...

i seriously wouldn't tbh. the only command ship that can possibly do without 1 is the nighthawk imo and even that i wouldn't recomend.
the only way u can run ur rep for a decent amount of time is if u use ur lows for relays which either makes ur tank or damage pants.
imo drop the scram or web and don't fly it alone. if u really want to fly alone with tacklers then u can do without the web. it's really not a solo ship tho.

It¦s a bit sad this doesnt seem doable even with 2 lowslots and 2 rigslots. Wish I could change a low for a midslot on this ship.

basically you need a cap injector otherwise you're whole setup will be around cap use and then if you get nos'ed (as if you wouldn't) it wont matter. absolution isn't really a good solo ship either, I like the ab/faction dis/cap injector mids. also to fit a setup without a cap injector you would want a 1600 plate meaning you would have to fit FMP and they suck
i like 2x rep 2x eamn 2x HS and a DCU with rep amount/thermic resist rig
