this topic is dumb. move all ready. the patch tomorrow is adding the LP bank so no matter what agent your using the LP can be used at any of the agents in that corp. now i may be wrong but doesn't that resolve this issue, so i ask once again why are we even discussing this. wait till tomorrow and if you don't like the changes then post again

Where do you see that in the patch notes, Peaches? I know it's in development, but have seen nothing about it being in this patch.

Baring this, why have multiple agents of the same quality types not been added? I'm sure this would solve a bunch of the problems and give people more choice in where they want to run missions.

One thing that's bugged me for a while, is why there's such a significant difference in agent quality level. I mean, given a system of agent,s where there's not limit on the number of missions you can take, why exactly, would you opt for something other than a QL20 L4 agent, in a system that meets your preferences for sec level.
THe QL -20 -> QL10 are used about 5 times to get standings up, and that's it.
I think that's the root of the problem - If you're going to be stuck with a single agent until you make the LPs to the CNR, you're sure as hell going to go for one that lets you do this faster.
In my opinion, if the wide variance on quality level were to disappear, then you'd find the mission runners spreading out a lot more. If you really need a variance in the rewards agents give out, then ... I don't know, make them randomly change QL each day or something. Or maybe have lower QL agents giving more isks/less LPs, making them the perfect choice if you're just looking to replace your PvP ships.
*shrug*.
The fact that a small set of factions (e.g. racial navy) have the lions share of 'good' agents, as well as there being a relatively short list of 'high grade' agents in existance, is going to promote clumping of mission runners.

I had a convo with GMs Guard and Markab. They said that the patch tomorrow will address alot of these issues and make certain missions require alot less bandwidth, so the total stress on the node will drop significantly. The Saila system (or possibly the Santenpaa constellation) is also getting it's own dedicated node, which will help alot.
Sounds good.
And also, GM Markab thinks that the thing about LP being moved to corp-level is due in Revelations 2, which is due in the summer months.

I'm miles away in Bereye, there was never any lag here and now it's much worse...
