You all are missing an important point here.
Yes, a Bestower made from an officer smartbomb recieves additional powers. But that is not the limit of its full potential.
Hislots: 2x officer smartbombs (same damage type as the original officer smartbomb)
Midslots: 4x Chelm's cap recharger
Lowslots: X-type deadspace armor tank mods
Rigslots: 2x Ancillary Current Router II, 1x Ancillary Current Router I
Now, here's the important bit. Fly the ship to the EVE Gate system. Log off at 100km from the furthest planet out. Then, chant the magic words "OHGOD PLEASE WORK" four times while sacrificing a chicken over your keyboard. Following this, light two sticks of cannabis insence and place them atop your monitor while chanting the magic words thirteen times.
Log in again. If all goes well, you should now be flying:
Bestower
Hislots: Judgement
Midslots: empty
Lowslots: empty
Rigslots: empty
After all, a DD is just a big smartbomb... right?

Just look at the Iteron V, it's so unbalanced compared to the others.

This is getting annoying. I'd really like some clarification on what powers the smart bombs give you. Doesn't anyone have a spreadsheet or a link to the powers? Please don't hold this info to yourselves. Share!

The powers gained are far more mysterious that your tiny brain could handle. any attempt to 'link' you to the details would end up in you being sucked into your computer and shot out into space without any breathing aparatus.

Pfft, what a joke.
Melt it down, build a Covetor, sell the rest of mins and buy 2 small faction smartbombs and a drone link augmentor. Then fit a chelm's cap reachrger in your midslot, and 2 civillian reps in lows. Then a small bubble and some liquid ozone in your cargo, 5 hammerheads in your drone bay, and for god's sake do not insure it.
Fly to ED-L9T. Anchor the bubble at the sun, fly into its area of effect, and log off for exactly 11 hours.
When you log on the next time, you'll be flying a Thanatos with dual capital reps, full cargo of fuel, full dronabay of figthers, large officer smartbombs officer smartbombs of the same type, and ofc few dronelinks.

Unfortunately everybody is talking a lot of rubbish. It's like invention, there's no possible way to find out if you'll get a better ship at all, or what kind of resists and how much powergrid it gets, similar to PE and ME on invention.
One thing I do know, and I'll probably get griefed from Eve for letting this secret out of the bag, is that Rage and Terror[RAT] for complex runs use Chelm's Modified Large Armor Repairer I, melted to build a Bestower, which they then use the T2 Cosmos stuff, melted, along with the bestower to build an Impel. My source told me it takes roughly on average 50-100 Bestower runs before they get something worthwhile, once they have the Bestower, it takes maybe 2 or 3 runs to turn out -anything- useful. By that stage anything useful is overpowered.
The one he's using now starts with 90/96/96/88 resists, 8K base armour, and can fit 3 LARs. He thinks the sky is the limit though, and he's hoping to get something that can tank like a dreadnought. The key thing is that it might be able to easily tank the same as a dread, but it's going through MUCH less armour hitpoints, so a single Guardian can tank it against pretty much anything a complex can throw at them.
So now you know why RAT are so good at plexing.

u guys are missing the picture here .
its quite possible to build a pvp bestower from a officer smarbomb minerals . the issue is that you need to also reprocess a estamel invulnerability field to make it work .. and since its rare, we dont see many bestowers pvp out there ;)

Wow...I bet none of you have actually done what the OP said and are just throwing stupid suggestions out there.
I was curious so I went out of my way and bought an officer SB, reproc'd it, and made a bestower. I got in the bestower and WTF in the High-Slots there was an "I-Win" button. I tried to take it off and fit it on one of my other ships, but it just disappeared. So I sold all my other ships and bought another officer SB, reproc'd it and made another bestower. This time I read the boniuses. "The I-Win button is the stuff of legends. More destructive than any Doomsday weapon, using the I-Win button causes all EvE servers to crash and the messge "***** has just won EvE, you can all go home now" where ***** is the name of the person who just activated the "I-Win" button." Sadly I accidentally unfit it and it broke, but currently all I have is about 10mil isk and 2 bestower, so the bestowers are now up on contract in Jita for 500mil each.

In regaards to how i would fit the bestower for pvp, I'd fit it like this:
Highs
Giga Pulse Laser
Salvager
Mids
Target Painter
Web
Target Painter
Lows
ALL HS II's
Assuming this thing hits it'll wreck teh **** outta whatever it shoots. I don't think it'll actually fit, but if I could fit it, this is how I would do it.

I heard flying a shuttle built from a reproc'd titan gives EW immunity to ALL ships in corp/alliance, has to be the same races shuttle as the titan you reproc ofc
