VinceNoir Amarr Pyrrhus Sicarii	Posted - 2007.03.20 00:49:00 - [1] So, a corpmate of mine and myself had an excellent idea. We're going to take an officer smartbomb melt it down and make a bestower. We're then going to fit the bestower for PvP. The queston is, if we make a bestower from an officer smartbomb will this give it any special abilities?

That's what the Elves (the Gallente, for you squares) in EvE call the damage types.

Scordite	Posted - 2007.03.20 01:38:00 - [25] Hm, been thinking some more, and I would probably go with this setup for the bestower, to take max advantage from it being made from a melted officer's smartbomb: Bestower 1x Medium EMP Smartbomb II (this is just an example, use the one with same damage type as the one the ship is made from) 1x Medium Pulse Laser II [1xConflagration S] 1x Small Electrochemical Capacitor Booster I [2xCap Booster 150] 3x Small Shield Extender II 4x Reactor Control Unit II 2x Ancillary Current Router II 1x Ancillary Current Router I Obviously, since it's passive tanked, it will be really hard to kill, and if you hit enough targets at the same time, you can do over 1000 dps. Injector keeps everything running until you run out of charges, and of course, you have room for quite a few of them 150s in a bestower's cargo hold. ----------------------------------------------- The only legitimate use of the BLINK tag: Schr÷dinger's cat is [BLINK] not [/BLINK] dead.
