Ive installed the new patch and undocked my ship but it just freezes on the Entering Space screen without being able to do anything. Totally stuck. Any ideas? Ive been playing this game for 2 days and already Ive encountered more problems than any other game I have ever played. Please help.

Having sorta same prob. Exited station....just black screen and popup saying checking navigation systems and it just hangs there. Anyone else?

Log out, and then back in. Problem should clear up. I get this very infrequently and relog always fixes it.

I'm also having this problem, and it's becoming really frequent. It seems mostly limited to the Federal Navy Assembly Plant in Luminaire. I also try to sell things and it doesn't actually do anything...
Now the tritanium I tried to sell is gone...nothing in my transactions tab about it being sold either...

You are not alone my friend, my character is also stuck in limbo. I undocked, screen turned black for too long, I thought hey client must have crashed. I relogged and I got to the point where it says Navigation Systems Initilizing... for way too long. Nothing but a black screen. Odd enough I could ctrl-tab to turn off the UI and see my ship outside of the station, click and fly about, but I can't use any other User Interface objects.

Yeah, sign me up for the list of people who can't dock/undock without the client black screening or freezing up. Anyone have a link to a guide to clearing your cache without losing bookmark folders, etc?

Myself included. Have to ctrl+q to close the client each time I dock and undock. Also the market screen refuses to open so I am unable to buy and sell things.

I'm having this problem also. I can log other characters on (who are docked at a station), but my character that is in space cannot log in.

Save the contents of EVE\cache\Settings and your bm folders will be preserved.

Bump. Is there a solution to this...? Having to quit and relog every time I exit the station is really...really annoying.

welcome to patch day.
wait until the first DT AFTER patch rollout to start the real complaints. most little issues will clear up by then.

I had the Black Screen after Undock too a few times.
Tho it also happend to me a few times before the patch.

I am having the same issue. I've relogged a few times but it keeps coming up to the Navigation Systems Initializing. My client seems fine as my main has no issues.

What worked for me was deleting my Cache folder in the eve directory. I tried saving my settings but using the old settings folder caused the same problem. Sux I had to redo my overview settings but at least it works now.

try deleting what in this folder
C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\cache\MachoNet
that some time clears the problem with out losing settings |

same problem for me, and I know that I'm actually past the undocking state because I see people on my buddy list logging in and out, and I can access the menu. Good thing I was the only one in the system when I was in the station, since I'm lowsec right now.

No luck here so far. Tried flying away from the station, but no dice.
Cleared the cache and made sure the computer was running like it always does.
Nothing but a black screen and "Checking Navigation Systems". Still able to ctrl+tab out, but I have no interface.
Any updates from anyone else?

I always worry about this. It hasn't happened yet, but our ships shouldn't show up in space until we're ready. Sucks to have a black screen while someone else is shooting you.

I have also been having the same sort of problems.
Although clearing my cache seems to have resolved it.
Give it a try.

Got the Same Problem ... Leaving the Station, then it hangs on "Checking Navigationsystem" ... clearing the cach doesn't solve the Problem.

You're lucky you can even get in. =P After loading the character, I jump straight to that screen, despite not being docked.
It's been like this for almost a day now.
Clearing my cache didn't solve it ether, and I know my computer is more than suited for this game.

I have the same issue, tried the usual stuff...cache clean, reboot and logging..
Problem still there...

Do any of your other chars work?
My first char Rauxons works fine. I can load him in and everything.
But my "main" (even though I'm on a trial) is dead in the water, so to speak.
