Edited by: Elsebeth Rhiannon on 22/03/2007 11:49:55 Namtz'aar K'in declared a CONCORD-sanctioned war against the known pirate corporation Infinitus Odium 2 weeks ago. Contrary to their propaganda, the declaration was filed only after INFOD had left Curse Alliance and Great Wildlands, to return to their piracy in Molden Heath.
After heavy initial losses Namtz'aar k'in have been able to move onto a war footing and more structured tactics are now in place. We are seeing this reflected in the new tactics of the invader, as they will now only visit our home systems either in very large groups with capital ship support, or in very small groups of one-to-two pilots playing hit-and-run. As the kill/death ratio improves we are seeing morale within our troops rise and the new tactics of engaging them on our terms are paying off as their frustration level grows. Nowhere is this more apparent than in their recent behaviour on these boards.
In the events of last week, an attempt was made by INFOD to assault POS starbases in Hedaleolfarber. They attacked three small starbases with a group of twenty-plus battleships and four carriers. One NMTZ starbase was placed in reinforced mode after 40 minutes of concentrated fire from the attackers who also destroyed a starbase belonging to a corporation not involved in the war and placed another into reinforced mode. Both the surviving starbases were repaired back to full shields in less than 24h from the initial attack. A later combined attack between NMTZ and 5th Column was repulsed by INFOD with heavy losses but key lessons were learned and morale remains high. A counter-attack on INFOD property is under way.
The war continues and will do so while this aggressive invader tries to tighten their grip on Molden Heath, whether or not the CONCORD-sanctioned war-declarations will be continued by either party. Indications of INFOD's growing frustration as they realise that NMTZ will not crumble were demonstrated not only by their behaviour in public, but also by the recent actions of an INFOD spy who spent much time attempting to persuade alliance corporations to sue for peace and pay 'tenancy' fees to INFOD. When it was clear that this would not work this same spy also provided INFOD with warp-in points on combined NMTZ and 5th Column fleets but losses he caused were minimal.
INFOD have also made extensive offers to corporations residing in Molden Heath to accept payment for not attacking their assets. Corps who wish to live in Molden Heath as tenants of INFOD should most likely contact one of their diplomats. We have to advice against trusting them in this or anything, however.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank and praise all our allies who have stood together against this threat despite efforts of the enemy to cause discord: 5th Column, Electus Matari, Foundation, and the several smaller organizations working in the area.
In order not to encourage the disruptive public behaviour (also known as "juvenile smacktalk") of many of our enemies, we will not answer inquiries in this thread. For further information, questions, concerns, suggestions, declarations of hostilities or co-operation, please contact any of the following:
Cz Ire - primary diplomat Elsebeth Rhiannon - secretary to the council of directors DuPuy - field commander, secretary of defense Pacal Balan - alliance executor

Thank you for this little piece of propaganda betty.
So the waiting for the "final victory" has begun?
Why is it that I haven't seen one single NMTZ gang consisting of more than 3 pilots since I joined INFOD?

More structure tactics meaning that of cynoing capitals in to a 2 man battleship group, using ECM 24/7 and assembling 10 man gangs to chase a shuttle around for over an hour, gotcha. And you're right! We're being more tactical too, we're now bringing a sud-o-ku puzzle book and a large pot of tea everytime we come to pay a visit, damn all that waiting gets boring! Thinkin' ahead ya see.

Firstly, dear betty, I would like to state that you should make it a rule in your absurd rules of rp'ing madness that all loss mails should be posted. along with this i'd like to point out that 98% of your kills are against SOLO targets taking a suicide trip towards "your neck of the woods". Don't get too arrogant about it. Though our behaviour on this forum... ? I thought you knew us better than that, the way you speak about us and all, you should know that this is just us.

3 carriers, and we never intended to return. Congratulations on repairing both POS back to 100% in 24 hours! And yeah we're win, keep on thinking you got high morale within your ranks, makes it all the more easy.

Our intel suggests otherwise. There is considerable resentment with NMTZ from both your friends and alliance members for starting this war. You and your allies have taken considerable loses and do not appear to be able to fight back. Our k/d ratio stands at almost 80% hardly encouraging for you and your allies.
Our offer still stands to neutrals in Molden Heath: join the fight against NMTZ or we will kill you.

Thank Heavens! This surely means we'll get some proper fights out of Namtz'aar k'in members, instead of having to make do with their 5th Column meatshields? Respect to 5thC for bringing it most of the time by the way!

No offense, but I wouldn't call killing one small POS and putting 2 more into reinforced "[making an attempt] to assualt POS starbases" ... there's no shame in admitting your enemies smacked you around, y'know.
Originally by: Elsebeth Rhiannon A later combined attack between NMTZ and 5th Column was repulsed by INFOD with heavy losses but key lessons were learned and morale remains high.
"Morale remains high"?? That would mean morale was high in the first place, and being someone who judges their adversaries by action rather than words, I hate to break it to you, Mrs Rhiannon, but Namtz'aar k'in pilots in the large have yet to show their morale is anywhere near high and come fight the good fight.
Originally by: Elsebeth Rhiannon Indications of INFOD's growing frustration as they realise that NMTZ will not crumble were demonstrated not only by their behaviour in public(...)
What is frustrating is that you're all good with words, but your pilots don't bring it for the most part. That's pretty much the only frustration I can think of in regards to Namtz'aar k'in VS INFOD, at least on our side. I'm sure (thanks to intel) that there's more to add from your side though.
Originally by: Elsebeth Rhiannon We would also like to take this opportunity to thank and praise all our allies who have stood together against this threat despite efforts of the enemy to cause discord: 5th Column, Electus Matari, Foundation, and the several smaller organizations working in the area.
This goes to the parties addressed in above quote: if I was you, I'd save this communication somewhere in your ship's logs, and make sure you read it when your "fellow allies" in Namtz'aar k'in keep pushing you to the frontlines while cuddling in their docking bays. It's as much recognition of your sacrifices as you'll ever get from them.
On a finishing note from my end of INFOD, and please keep in mind I'm but a mere (though happy) grunt: don't let the high-handed speeches given by your so-called leaders cloud your judgment of the situation. Words don't replace your losses inflicted by us, they don't help you make ISK and enjoy your time out in Molden Heath. It's not too late to make sure the political puppeteers of Namtz'aar k'in and MH-SEC take the fall without pulling you with them.

We've noticed this as well. You no longer seem to warp into the fight in groups of three or four, rather than in one big blob, which greatly decreases the time we spend expediting targets. Thank you for that. :)
Originally by: Elsebeth Rhiannon We are seeing this reflected in the new tactics of the invader, as they will now only visit our home systems either in very large groups with capital ship support, or in very small groups of one-to-two pilots playing hit-and-run.
Being a member of NMTZ command you should know that fighting a war isn't a menu where you order the meal of the day in accordance with what your appetite will allow you to swallow. Seeing that we have taken it upon ourselves to spoon-feed your malnourished alliance, we have taken steps to ensure that we alone decide whether you are allowed to have a small taste of the good stuff or enough of it to choke on.
Originally by: Elsebeth Rhiannon As the kill/death ratio improves we are seeing morale within our troops rise and the new tactics of engaging them on our terms are paying off as their frustration level grows. Nowhere is this more apparent than in their recent behaviour on these boards.
Perhaps you should frequent the killboards rather than exacting censorship on our members in this open forum. That'd also spare you the embarassment of claiming to be on par with the situation, when it's quite apparent to anyone with an IQ above room temperature that the NMTZ has failed completely and utterly at anything more than bringing a war to an entire region that they themselves are too scared to fight.
Originally by: Elsebeth Rhiannon In the events of last week, an attempt was made by INFOD to assault POS starbases in Hedaleolfarber. I'm sure you are familiar with the expression that if the Amarr won't come to the Jove, then the Jove will have to come to the Amarr. So far, the NMTZ have shown us that they are somewhat reluctant to go into battle - even when they have the advantage of numbers. We will do whatever it takes to provoke a response from your forces.
Let this be abundantly clear. With your declaration of war, you have bought yourselves nothing short of a war. If you waste our time by scrambling around like headless chickens in shuttles and what not, instead of fighting for your system and those foolish enough to rely on your protection, we will find something to shoot at.
Originally by: Elsebeth Rhiannon A later combined attack between NMTZ and 5th Column was repulsed by INFOD with heavy losses but key lessons were learned and morale remains high.
The "combined attack" consisted mainly of 5th Column pilots, who until now have paid the highest price for your war. The vast majority of NMTZ pilots were safely docked in those five minutes of carnage - including the NMTZ carrier pilot who found it necessary to pull a logoffski to save his capital ship.
Let me give you another free lesson here to boost your morale: If you need to chase off a pack of wild dogs, don't bring a sack of kittens for the fight.
Originally by: Elsebeth Rhiannon A counter-attack on INFOD property is under way.
Six guys attacking an old station in the wee hours of the morning isn't really as much of a counterattack as the laugh of the day. We will, however, be more than happy to accomodate you and whoever you decide to bring with you, should you eventually develop the courage to do anything more than warp off in randomn directions as per usual.

We make no secret of our pirate ways. We will engage anything that has no standings set to us - a policy that is no different from your own. To have standings set, you either pay with your allegiance in combat or with a sum of money in accordance with the size of your operation.
Whether or not people trust us is of no consequence to us. If you do not wish to do business with us, it's a perfectly fair and acceptable stance. Unlike NMTZ, we don't force our beliefs upon others. We don't preach a code that we won't live up to either... and we NEVER let others take the brunt of our battles for us. I'd say that has considerably more marketing values than your advise and those ideals that you are so eager to preach, and yet so reluctant to live by.

INFOD has no spies within you ranks and never have had. This job does not require spies, unless of course there was some way of forcibly undocking NMTZ ships from their stations - and believe me, if we wanted to have spies in your operation, we would have had it already. :)
I can see, though, how this fits in the mosaic of propaganda that you are currently trying to push through. You use it to get rid of those among your allies who are now finally starting to ask questions as to why they find themselves on top of the killboards, while the NMTZ leaders have yet not had that "honor".
Well, congratulations! Leaders of NMTZ, you can now add the revival of ancient McCarthyism, the trademark paranoia of past millenias barbarism, to your list of accolades!
There is much to be learnt from ancient history, pilots and allies of NMTZ! The failure of any totalitarian regime is at hand when it spends it's resources killing off voices of reason rather than fighting the enemy at the gates. Your leaders are the political officers of that dark and ancient history, and their words are the water-cooled machine-guns mowing anyone down who suddenly sees through their illusion!
Originally by: Elsebeth Rhiannon We would also like to take this opportunity to thank and praise all our allies who have stood together against this threat despite efforts of the enemy to cause discord: 5th Column, Electus Matari, Foundation, and the several smaller organizations working in the area.
Praise the fighting 5th, if any. So far, they have been alone in providing us with any sizable fleet that a monkey couldn't scatter chucking rocks while hanging from a 10-ISK balloon.

In conclusion, I'm not too sure what you are trying to accomplish with this newsflash which is laughable at best to anyone who have actually fought in this war.
Leaders of NMTZ, spare us the rethorics and the inflamatory speeches. Undock your capitals and fight alongside the mindless sheep that you have so far managed to drive in front of you and unto the fields of slaughter. Not only would it greatly alleviate and honor those among your allies who are now buckling under the constant strain of fighting a proxy war, but it is also the only way of preventing your discount ideology from being exposed for what it truly is: Nothing more than yet another hot air balloon of those ancient days, captained by lesser men with voices too big for their ego.

Do you even believe your own story? How can morale be high when we roll over to your HQ every night? Where is your mighty Minmatar fleet when you need them? Or is it all part of your little roleplaying game?
At this moment you are the one getting the beating. Feel free to post when you achieve something, instead of reporting how you control the damage within your alliance. If you really are such hero`s, then why do you let us into your HQ?
`Oh, we didn`t need those POS anyway, we were busy having a RP tea party`.

And you actually believe this yourself? We have big BS fleets every single night, we are waiting for you to do the same.

Propaganda, biased at that but i expect no less from anyone. You post your view of the war as it stands, i'll admit your word choice is clever and you choose the facts which best portray NMTZ as the resiliant victims. Yet i do not understand why you choose not to reply.
This post is an attempt to make NMTZ look like the underdog. The fact is that your alliance declared war on our corporation, and in turn suffered ludacris casualties.
Your post was good up until the end, when you ducked out of the thread. You post your claims and will not discuss them. You share your view and will not allow others to correct you with their side of the story. No this is not CAOD, yet none the less i would expect you to elaborate through conversation so the public may know both sides of the story.
The current situation is that Namtz'aar k'in, Foundation, Electus Matari, and 5th collum, have launched a combined attack on Infod. If nothing this post shows that NMTZ is not capable of sustaining a war on its own.

The only frustrations we are experiencing are, as another INFOD member stated above, that nanmtz'aar k'in are all bark and no bite. You overestimate the slight annoyance your lack of willingness to engage us is causing. We're still having a helluva time crushing your forces.
You are gifted in propaganda, and that's nothing to be taken lightly. But the fact still remains that, while outnumbered many times, INFOD has brought the pain to you. I find it amusing that you accuse us of blobbing you when you greatly outnumber us.
We're still having fun, we aren't "letting our frustration kill us". We'd just like to see more juicy RP corpses littering MH space. Your signature exceeds the maximum allowed dimensions of 400x120 pixels -Elmo Pug ([email protected]) |

If by any means all this is about you guys scoring some kills at 05h00 when more than 70% of our corp is off line, well congrats in that.

first of all you need several alliances to kill us , one corperation with good men that fight till death.
second you are trying to say that you are trying to get on the upper hand but well, your followers really dissagree 'bout that. haven't seen much namtz arround lately and couldn't even shot some even when the war is still legal.
what i'm trying to say is, whatever you try to say, when you can't trust your own members to be fighters for the cause, you'll never win this war.
and last we are not back in molten heath to make friends, we don't need many friends.

While a Infod gang of 40 ships attacked Hedal on SUNDAY (nice prime time day) Namtz and allies taht numbered over 60+ in hedal plus teh surounding areas did not undock to fight as to save the POSes... Infod was outnumbered on a wednesday night (not so primetime) 35-4 and yet we still undocked to give it a go.. the Namtz pos assault resualted in a POS going into reinforced mode but yet they still lost a number of BS and some support! and with a larger Capital fleet too boot. Am i suppost to be imressed? Took 4 alliances to take down a POS during the weekday? and with 5-6 Capitals and still you lost Battleships to our frigates! If this is what raises your moral.. wow you must be in high spirits afer we keep killing off your fleets in hedal. So next time we do come to visit.. please oh for the love of sheep and all the other fuzzy animals.. please undock and atleast try to save your POSes.

We put 2 of your allies POS's into reinforced and kill a couple of em.
This is how we will operate in the upcoming future. If you want to be safe from INFOD, contact INFOD leadership. We are able to work out deals.
Think about one thing: Did NMTZ help you when you needed help? Is NMTZ likely to help you in the future if you, god beware, need help?

We do have Smeggy`s corps though - Tassi actually has (you know what that means... ) ---

I cannot help pointing out that I think this thread very much seems to prove true what was said in the top post about the mounting frustration and resulting smacktalk from our enemies.
It is a nice try, and one has to give to INFOD that when it comes to volumes they can raise a mighty propaganda machine, way more powerful than that of any other than enemy I have fought. No matter what differences of opinion or style of fighting, skill and force must be respected, both those of guns and of words.
Of course, no amount of respect for skill or force can change the facts here: that INFOD are pirates, smacktalkers, and liars, and we are not. Our allies certainly know this, and based on what they know choose for themselves who they shoot and who not. We are not jealous of our targets. Neither seems INFOD to be that of theirs...
I have zero interest to take this to "did not, did too" and thus will not comment details of engagements or battles in public, outside of the war situation updates, which I hope we can make more frequent in the future. Suffices to say that the situation seems to me to be improving nicely.
