Yeah and considering we didn't even HAVE 5 PFM guys with us, kinda hard for them to lose 5 cruisers, no? ------------------------------------------- If you kill them, they will die!
Sport the war, war support The sport is war, total war When victory's really a massacre. The final swing is not a drill It's how many people I can kill! |

aaaargh
ok here's a thought. lest the frumious talkasmack that's been mugging what's left of the population terminally infect us as well.
Taking killshots with your camera drone is at best a risky pastime.
In any gathering, the fleet is usually assembled at one spot at least briefly, not counting coming from oppostite directions entirely.
Maybe some "before" and "after" shots would, without being any kind of proof a court would accept, at least give some kind of general feel for the results? Would be a nice effect, anyway, as some flames are sure to be in evidence. In pictures, i mean, not here...
it's not much but this is as helpful as i can muster the strength to be atm. enjoy. ,-P

Edited by: Estios on 22/12/2003 14:23:57 Beleive you me last night was merely an outing to show some of our newer pilots what I is to face the Empires gaurdians. Our time amassing forces has gone well but we did not wish to show you what our real capabilities are.
We have not returned per se as we never completely left. We merely wanted an excursion to see what your capabilities are and you have shown us.
So HMV consider Andy Williams and Dean Martin to be "easy listening" do they? Tell that to my mate Dave, he's been deaf for 20 years.

Okay...
I will retract the kill figures until I have more definite confirmation.
There is no point spoiling what was apparently a good battle with a flame fest.
I wasn't there so went on what I was told last night (by several different sources).
In total last night PIE lost:
1 Cruiser and 3 Frigates in the battle AND in the numerous pre and post battle clashes.
It would be nice if Oracle and PFOM could each HONESTLY put what they lost!

Indeed I fear the tell tale stench of exageration is in the air. I can confirm that Golan did indeed convo Al Haquis post fight because I was talking to Al when it happened. However I am unsure how Al could have confirmed the ship numbers you claim Golan as we, to the best of my knowledge, only had 4-5 pilots involved and only 3 of those took ship losses. Given that some went initially in frigate class ships to start with and we dont have spare cruisers just lying about in Yulai.....
However I am willing to concede that I was unable to attend due to pressing personal matters and as such there is always room for error. If I have mistated or misrepresented anybody I am of course sorry.
In order to avoid any future doubts upon battle statistics as far as our own ship losses are concerned and where kills are verifiable (i.e. with corpses) members of the Peoples Front will now be required to log all engagements within our central records. This will then enable me to more accurately discuss any such claims made about the PFM's pilots activities in such battles.
Ok, so what the hell is this Golden Ratio? |

Whatever the results where it was clear that this initial skirmish was favorable for our fleet.

Edited by: Gaius Kador on 22/12/2003 15:14:43 Tempers flare I see, good. Fuels your apetite for the fight.
Yesterday was a good night for Amarr, terrorist ships went down left and right very quickly. Now the frenzy of battle might have thrown both sides off a bit, and we did base our reports on intel our enemies confirmed. Maskirovka, the masquerading of truth, is not a game PIE play at.
I urge you to state the correct numbers then, if you believe our intel is off.

You did ruin JohnnyAlpha's Punisher and later his rookie ship, though I don't believe we should start taking kill counts of those ;)
The TES Kador Prime took heavy sustained fire and EW strikes from the moment I warped in. You got me down to 50% of my hull, and I commend you for trying to get a major kill. Valiant if a bit foolish ;)
Edit: What really put me off yesterday though, was the gathering of vultures around the sites of battle. We had no chance to salvage the containers of the fallen, and the fools put us all at risk regarding Concord intervention due to their greedy frenzy. Pathetic.
Yulai is a pit of decadence, and not a system I will fight to hold the field in another day. ----------------------------------------------

Indeed I have asked my pilots to do the same.

Thank you Hardin, I feel it would benefit both our corps if we make all effort to reduce these instances whereby claims are disputed where possible. It detracts from the enjoyment and the well earned feeling of contentment the victors justly deserve.
With this in mind I will be asking the People's Front Members to avoid making any claims re our own specific numbers regarding any fleet engagements until we have at least verified them internally. It just makes us all look a bit cheap when we spend half the discussion arguing over numbers when the main issue should really be about the fight that was enjoyed.
And as far as the previous comment your corp mate made about us never been the same enemy that Oracle were I would entirely agree. We have always represented a more extreme end of the political spectrum and as such our numbers were always less than Oracles. Nevertheless we fight when and where we can and I trust we'll meet in space again.
Ok, so what the hell is this Golden Ratio? |

In these actions I am shure, we can find eachother much more easily then in more advance political discussions
