Earlier today, MC took control of the D2 outpost in P-2. We will not have Sov until tomorrow at DT so tonight, D2 attempted to dislodge us from the system in what I can honestly say was the most intense and insane fight of my EVE experience. Attempting to write this up would take hours. The battle raged for more than two hours at least.
Highlights:
100+ D2 (over half BS) jumped into 4 MC motherships. Big fight. To give you an idea of the scale, I got 25 kill mails in that first fight alone, mostly BS. Tom McCash (sp?) showed up and DD'd the field just as we ordered a warp out. I am not sure what we lost (poor fighters!) but the DD hit one of our Nyxs and there wasn't much else on either side there it seemed? Anyway, after 20-30 mins, MC leaves the gate completely after hostile count rises above 180 in local.
Eleven D2 Dreads and 5 Carriers came in and attempted to put one of our POS into reinforced. We began attacking them with the motherships and support. D2 support was incredible. I mean, these guys warped right into the POS over and over and got hammered. The moms shredded them and yet they kept on coming again and again as we started to scramble and bubble their capitals.
D2 focused quite a lot on our support. Their capitals went for our POS but then dropped out of siege, I guess because it was taking too long?
Mid-way as we re-grouped, YouWhat showed up with a force of 40 BS to help even the odds. Thier timely arrival turned the tide and added the DPS needed to finish off the capitals we had bubbled.
I lost 32 fighters in this insanity. Our other three motherships and carriers probably suffered similar losses.
Confirmed D2 cap losses: 3x Thanatos, 1x Moros, 1x Phoenix
No allied Dreads participated and there are no allied cap ship losses.
Station and our POS are fine (not reinforced) and we are now looting the system. I mean this literally. The battle raged in at least three main locations.
Support kills are in the 100+ range. BS kills... I can't even guess. I know of 26 BS kills that I had the final blow on. There is no way that any kill boards will be up to date for at least 24 hours.
Complete accuracy in a fight like this may never happen. I won't bother posting kills or losses here beyond what I've already said. People know where the various kill boards are and can examine them over the next 24 hours. Bottom line:
D2 - Thank you for the most amazing and intense battle EVER. Local was clean and the lag was manageable (at least for me!). The members of the MC salute you for your bravery and effort tonight. Fights like this are what EVE is all about. 
P.S. - Oh, Loxy has 20 GB of FRAPS!

Thank you for this wonderfull battle. Even if the odd¦s were not in our favors at the beginning it turned out to be a wonderfull and entertaining evening.
Dispite the point that the poor carriers were supporting Seleene and and Waaga with our fighters and not even managing to get onto the killmails
have fun and safe way home o/

Awsome fight all. Glad we got there before it was over. & that the lag, while pretty bad warping to pos', was quite bareable once the grid loaded.
