Why don't they just create another system right next to Jita where also all the traffic can go through.
Even if someone doesn't want to be in Jita for selling/buying things, then they still have to travel through it reach other systems nearby. So why not have a system next to Jita wich would always be used by the autopilot when you are travelling through that area.
So only the people that really Want to be in Jita for selling/buying can set their autopilot to Jita directly. This at least would seperate the traders and the travellers and the load in Jita would be a bit less already.

Originally by: Krystal Foxglove You know, not to bring WoW into this but I have to...
Ironforge was NOTORIOUS for player created lag.. Blizzard upgraded servers... No more lag.
Suppose that there should be an upgrade to the servers to prevent "player" lag.
Actually if you ever played WoW you should know that they linked the auction houses so that there was no 'single point of failure' market hub. No server upgrade or patch they ever introduced ever 'fixed' Ironforge when it all dirt roads led to it's auction house.
This might be less practical in EvE because lets say you link Rens and Jita's markets. Now you've introduced a way to transport goods from one region to another via the market. I doubt CCP wants to do that. In WoW, this is not a concern.
sorry for the ot.
actually if u ever played wow u should have know ironforge was the main hub for its central location, and that the actionhouse linking didnt changed much, atleast not on the server i play on.

Hi CCP, Tried the trial, like the game! Bought an account! It's not even 24 hours old. Made the mistake of logging out in Jita. Hey, I'm a noob, apparently this is a noob mistake. Now, less than a day after I buy an account, I can't even log in to play. Already wondering if I made a bad decision by purchasing an account... Seriously, a game that's been around as long as EVE has, you would have thought these types of issues would have been fixed... ummm... years ago?? As a paying customer, I don't care what the issue is, just freaking fix it.

Omg....
I just logged out in Jita with my trial new alt, trying to log in and...simply cannot!
I thought I had a computer/connection problem, so I came here to post and ask for any solution, but I just found that the problem is caused by all theese connections in hub...freaking.
You need to connect Jita market to another system's market to divide traffic..it is the only solution!

Here is a response I got from CCP:
"Thank you for notifying us about your lag issues. CCP is well aware of the lag in various systems and with FW. However, we already have your money, so go frag yourself." .

I'm currently stuck in Jita hahaha. Been stuck for a few hours since I logged off and it's Sunday evening...how stupid of me!! I hope I'm able to login in the morning at least to change a skill training! Seriously though, this should have been fixed or at the very least majorly improved by this point in EVE's continuous development..

Originally by: ISD BH Pirlouit Hi Willow,
Jita lag is indeed a MAJOR pain. I experienced it myself today and it was real bad. Sharkbait tried to explain to us mere mortals what is going on but it is mostly due to the sheer number of people in the system. I am sure they are aware of the issue and remember the need for speed initiative is there to also improve the situation.
Beside, I remember that they are thinking of making a constellation wide delivery system with interbus so to relieve the hub issue.
For now, we just have to try to avoid Jita especially on a sunday.
U know if we get inter-bus its going to change the market as we know it, prices will just plummet as the only way your be able to sell anything is by being the cheapestcasue no one will need to travel to buy anything, it will crash the market, no one will be able to earn isk from trade and there is going to be an uproar about those who infested skills in trade.

just introduce a congestion charge, will force people who only want to buy 1 item to a different system, and those that want to buy a ship and all its fittings will still be worth there while to go there, it frigging makes sense

Charging for entry and queing systems are the way to solve this. e.g. perhaps you pay a higher ISK for shorter que time. Congestion is a feature of human civilisation and dealing with in a realistic way could add to the game.

Charging isk to enter the system or a running char for time spent in the system would most definatly help but as ive said before maybe CCP could get there programmers to add in some extra script into the game to auto-eject In-active players from the system
Removing all agents in the system is another idea and also .. all the major traders in eve could help by setting up shop in adjacent systems to help split the loadout between jita and on or more other systems.
Last but not least they could even delete the entire system from the servers data base taking all the resident bandwidth consuming SCAMMERS with it LOL

(Maurasi should be connected to New Caldari...)

This means you cannot jump into any system that has more than a certain amount of players in it.
This also means that anyone that anyone that logged out in one of these systems will not be able to log in, which will explain the problems that people are experiencing there as the moment. If you are in this situation then you need to submit a petition to get put out of the system so you can log in. Make sure you submit this as a Stuck Petition as these are given priority.
For the Devs, there is one thing that can be done, there are some systems that can only be accessed through Jita. this means that anyone trying to get in or out of these systems will need to go through Jita. A simple solution would be to provide by-pass gates that would allow people to go around Jita when accessing these systems, this should also take some of of the load of Jita as it will not need to be used as a transit route :)

This is what makes Jita, Jita...the fact that it connects different key systems. If you get "Stuck" a 100% solution I've found is to log in from a different computer. Makes me wonder if this issue is entirely on the client side, rather than the server. It gets me unstuck every time. However, you have to leave the station and re-dock before you can log in on your "main" computer.
