It was intended to steal from jetcans. If you ran into a hulk that decided to fight back with scout drones, it was supposedly able to tank the damage and pop the hulk. Inty V was supposedly not used as people were intimidated by them and would just pack up and leave. Basically, you were counting on people underestimating you.

One of those options tells a would-be suicide ganker that you've got something worth hiding, so it's probably more valuable than the cost of the gank.
