I don't know what the majority of CEO's do in this game but it has definitely more to do with sounding important on coms, or figuring out better ways of how to spend your members hard earned isk than you actual duties.
It has been weeks now that we made a post to ensure you all knew we left anything blue in the past, and to this day we get people screaming in local that we are BLUE.
WTF, why oh why would you have Burn Eden set to blue.
JUST FIX IT
I don't enjoy killing targets that do not fight back, so for the love of GOD set us to anything but blue.

BE are never blue... they're just different shades of red.
How red they are determines whether they should be shot first or last.

For as long as I have played this game, I have only ever seen BE in 2 ways, in kill/death mails or red in overview. Any thing else would be a complete abomination.

I imagine that a lot of CEO's just dont bother reading CAOD, cause of all the crap that it contains. Tough luck to their members, but we all learned it the hard way

That sure has nothing to do with arrogance. And yes it is a CEO's duty to know whats going on, or he wont be able to be a CEO much for long.
Also if you have a long standings list, then you can't be arsed to write a mail to everyone on that list, so you make an announcement. And if noone at all from your corp bothers to read the forums, then you have more serious problems then standings.
If you are unable to watch and track your standings even, you should probably stop being a ceo/director.

Not that I want to sound lik a BE fanboi here, but there is a difference between not being able to fight back and being tactically beaten. 
Damps may be lame in your opinion, but that doesn't make BE cowardly. It makes them smart because they are using the best mods available for their playstyle at the time.

Fact is NO one should have ever set us to blue, we joined an alliance which was blue to almost everyone. And their standings were changed automatically, no need to set UDIE to blue especialy when no one ever asked them to.
All the smacking chumps in this thread, keep talking my list is growing, I'm kinda the reverse of Santa you will be giving us gifts sooner or later.

Actually I asked Some RA ppl to set us blue for docking rights and especially for eve-o drama bombs when we went **** goons.

Individual corps who are not in an alliance have to set each member corp of an alliance BLUE individually. We have this issue every so often, but don't worry, your on our naughty list :) so their is no prob over here.

Meh. i read the forums once and a while, rarely post, but i would not wish this cess pit of teen angst upon anyone. A CEO who doesn't participate is a corp not on the radar. Good thing in my book. Guess when you get huge you can't help but deal with idiots, but its a nice fantasty to entertain.
Something about this game really turns me off sometimes. if you don't do X, your a newb, is pretty much the eve mantra. Good luck with that. you win kids. :)
