Ok not to sound bias, but how many people did it take to come to fade to fight D2 and friends? how many big, pvpers, who claim space.
Now, how many alliances, other then D2 that claim space were alongside D2 today? Answer. None.
Residents and D2 were all that were really involved today. And to be honest, i think we performed really well considering the numbers thrown at us.
However, if people like Iron, FLA, Sparta, MM and Razor came along, would this be the same story?
Personally i have no doubt in the force attacking the norths ability to take Fade, but the ultimate question is, can you hold it? Once everyone returns north, how long then will what i call hostiles be able to keep attacks like this up?
Collateral damage is the key here... how much damage can D2 afford to take before they throw everything back? Only time will tell!

Well they didn't come... And tbh you can use the reverse of that... What if BoB, Rise, Fix, etc come instead...
We payed a visit to help MC and pew pew some... It was fun... It's funny that D2 has people still in fountain as they loose stations in Fade. The D2 guys can fight... and we've had lots of good ones but it looks like they are pulling an ASCN... People in fountain while they are loosing space.... Though tbh... Less number of jumps to kill hostiles so stay in fountain for all I care.

Ironic that after all the finger pointing and complaining about the northern bandwagon, you finally admit that you're just a bunch of small alliances fighting for BoB, zerging D2.

Appears i stepped on a few feet.
My post was not to put anyone down, nor cause issues, i know why certain alliances arent in the north, much respect to them.
But my post was just pointing out that my fellow northern friends wont always be in the south, and yes, friends of the attacking force can always come. Which will no doubt happen, maybe even fights spawning an entire region. Who knows. But everyone will come home and remove that which attacks us soon.

ok.. I like your thinking...
I was up north today (it is cold there btw). and I was shocked of the numbers of defenders (low) it was a saturday, it was euro peak (our weekest time tbh) there was very galent resistance (I never entered c4c I was in another system ganking near by, well my alt was)
As things started to grind down (nothing more boring that support watching dreads do their stuff) I logged my main in back in fountian.
20-25 d2 in YZ-LQL? Shocked I was, they had a large bubble camp on the station. I couldn't understand the d2 leadership saying to their peeps, "don't bother comming back to defend the station system, you keep killing the Bobbetts (I like that better than pets tbh)".
Then I was in a roaming gang round fountain (6 of us), bumped in to 20 RA, in Fountain? It was a suprise, we lost two ships it was that much of a suprise. But there was no one in Fountain bar us, everyone (or all the main FC's PvP'er etc) were up North.
So either d2 have a cunning plan, or they are already dead (which i think is just funny, cause until the stop shooting they ain't dead to me), or they are pulling a ASCN! ASCN fell quickly was cause they started camping systems in fountain, until the devs change it the Serps will never surrender, and not worrying about defence of their home ISK making systems.
So Station ping pong starts and if there are still 30 people in core in Fountain, and we're all up North helping the alliance, my money is on the station being ours very quickly, and (as you say) Fade turns blue (or a shade of blue).
my humble and biased view point of course

Tbh your we got blobbed argument doesnt hold any ground, our fleet numbered 180 at peek. If you look at the northern alliances and all their residents youd end up with roughly 9000 pilots, lets say 75% of them are somewhere else, youd still have +2000 left.
Even if they could only get 10% of their forces to show up at a certain time they'd still outnumber our fleet by quite a margin. So no, nobody is throwing large numbers at you, Fix is still at home, all the southern allies are at home, Exuro Mortis is at home, and Bob is still at home.

Tbh what im somewhat more interested in is where did d2 go? Are they fighting down south? D2 activity in fountain is low at best, other then a few carrier pilots playing gank and dock games in Yz or A-1C there really is no major D2 threat left here. Sparta and the older fountain locals are here but wheres D2?
I guess they'll eventually head home, i have a carrier that needs to die -----

Blackadder: Baldrick, I have a very, very, very cunning plan. Baldrick: Is it as cunning as a fox what used to be Professor of Cunning at Oxford University but has moved on and is now working for the U.N. at the High Commission of International Cunning Planning? Blackadder: Yes it is. Baldrick: Hmm... that's cunning. --

I tried to resist welshy but take it in good humor, The only smirks you wiped off any faces was the stations ;( since you sat in it so much. Also the node wasn't too happy with your mass logon and log off requests.

TBH that term is starting to come out. there had to be SOME name for the coalition's foe. "The alliance" sort of fits.
