Hi all,
I was trawling through the ship setups, and ( i could just be blind today ) i couldnt find any EOS setups.
Ive heard of people running it as a shield tanker...but that just seems wrong as its a Gallente ship and it's all about armour & i have very poor shield skills
Could somebody help me with an Eos setup? both for lvl 4's and PVP please.
Thanks Star

is it solo pvp? or gang pvp?
solo pvp im guessing its the
High = ions meds = warp scram, mwd, cap booster, web lows = tank and a damage mod or two
if your in a gang, you may as well take advantage of the warfare link bonus then watch as your buddies never form a gang without you as squad command.

Well might aswell ignore the PVP, i need far better leadership skills. Should of edited that sorry.
say for PVE - LVL 4's
I was trying to do lvl 4's in my Astarte, but its probably me just getting my setup's wrong ( only tried it once and was drunk at the time ) but i couldnt seem to dish out lots of dmg, i could keep everything at range ( think i was using 250mm II's with Spike or Iron...) and ive shifted to my Hyperion to do them, but i prefer HAC's/Command ships to do most of my work.
But so far i wasnt having much look doing lvl 4's in the command ships ( its at lvl 4 btw).
Hmmm hope this helps & thanks for the idea's so far.

I'm doing most lvl4 in either Astarte or Eos.
Eos: 7 x 250mm II (AM, take some thorium and iridium with you)
AB II, Tracking Comp(named), 3x cap recharger (Eutetic in my case)
Meditation Armor Repper, Hardeners & Magstabs depending on Mission
The Astarte basicly uses the same fitting while I tend to use more magstabs on the Astarte.

Put your self in a gang and with the right skills you can now tank way over 3000dps perhaps even 4000dps if you swap to active hardeners and/or use officer hardeners.

How are you gonna go pew pew with that cap recharge? You're missing out on a lot of dps by not fitting guns

As for shield tanking? bleh! Not my thing and i did say my shield skills are no good :(
atm my drone skills dont cover me for Tech II everything, i can use all the tech II mediums and i can have the electronic warfare in a few days.
But as my skills are the best for this ship, im thinking i might aswell go with my Ishtar as it has more drone space, is more agile ( bad tank i know ) and i could just do lvl 4's in that & just keep my range at 100k with drone range in the high slot. Or is that just asking for a bruising from the lvl 4's?
Just read the last post - Yeah i agree i think there are better ships for PVE & until my skills are up to what i would like i think ill keep doing my lvl 4's in my Hype. Thanks again all :)
Just hope people post more on here and get a Sticky EOS setup added to the ship index :)

ôHow are you gonna go pew pew with that cap recharge? You're missing out on a lot of dps by not fitting gunsö It has enough cap regen to run hybrids with low cap ammo or fit projectile turrets. Though If you want to use antimatter fit 1 or 2 more PDS modules. Anyway as the poster is not interested in shield tanking I better pull out of this thread.

i used this to take on stage aggro on the assault and the first stage of vengence with a kin ressist of 94 or somthing like that (2kin 1therm) Really sweet ship for two-damage rats that can be set up to pwn it's way through things for somthing like 150mil in total
cap lasts forever with iridium ammo and evrything running, but antimatter will force you to manage your second MAR a little bit
for pvp i really do prefer the astarte though |

no i say ur welcome to post even if it's completly not what is needed from the op. i find ur setups most interesting to read and if ur figures are right about the dps tanked on that setup, which i suspect they are, then my god i may try that setup. figure u can get a point on there without dropping much tank and be a beautiful bait ship. and u put out a fair bit of dps with 5 ogre II's alone with decent skills.

Eos
Siege Warfare Link - Shield Harmonizing Turret Slot Turret Slot Turret Slot Turret Slot Turret Slot Turret Slot
Large Shield Extender II Large Shield Extender II Large Shield Extender II Invulnerability Field II Magnetic Scattering Amplifier II
Shield Power Relay II Shield Power Relay II Shield Power Relay II Power Diagnostic System II Power Diagnostic System II
Rigs : Core Defence Field Purger I \ Core Defence Field Purger I \
16957 shield, 202.37/s, E/T/K/Ex=53/71/89/71 5188 armor, E/T/K/Ex=59/67/83/10 3875.976210460075 cap, +9.83/s, -8.2/s 174.0 m/s
These numbers include the +5% shield hp implant and the -5% shield recharge time implant, too.
The shield numbers above are without the gang mindlink implant that I think adds another 15% to your shield hp? and it also does not include the resists from the siege warfare link. If the third implant adds another 15% to your shield hp then your peak recharge rate would go up to 232.7 and if the bonus to your shield resists from the siege warfare link is 20% then you'd end up with the following, I believe:
Resists & Tankable DPS EM = 63.04% = 630 tankable DPS EX = 77.60% = 1039 tankable DPS KI = 91.60% = 2771 tankable DPS TH = 77.60% = 1039 tankable DPS Average = 1370 tankable DPS
You can get better regen if you swap out a PDS II for another SPR II, but you won't regen enough cap to run it non-stop. Also, your overall tankable DPS would go up if you drop the magnetic amplifier and pop in either another Invuln Field II (which would make your cap issues increase... but nothing a NOS on your enemy couldn't resolve) or simply fit another LSE II.
In other words, you can do quite a bit better than this setup if you're willing to have to NOS your opponent as part of your tactics. The nice thing about the above setup is it can be run forever.

high: 7 250 rails med: !!! afterburner, 1 large gist booster, dg amp, 2 hardeners lows: 3 Shadow serpentis mag stabs, 2 pdu
does something around 750 dps...good tank...different approach

10MN MWD II 24km Warp Disruptor Web (personally I use True Sansha web) Medium Electrochemical Capacitor Booster I One situational slot... I use Sensor Booster II most, but you can fit sensor damp, tracking disruptor, another warp disruptor etc...
x2 Medium Armor Repairer II Damage Control II Armor Explosive Hardener II EANM II
x2 Auxilliary Nano Pump I
x5 Berserker II (Ogre IIs are too slow to move imo and if I launch them at a gate and target appears 15km away it's a pain.) x5 Hammerhead II x5 Hornet EC-300 (last resort, get away drones, or longer range, disposable ECM) x5 Vespa EC-600 x5 Medium Armor Maintenance Bot I
The three Nos and the cap injector allow the two reps to run pretty easily unless you have a curse on you or something. Berserker IIs and the 4 blasters will chew through any defences pretty well, the Nos will help switch off their rep/boosters quicker. ECM drones give your gang more options. You may want to remove the web and add something else if you have a huggin in your gang. =) Haven't lost this Eos yet, but I have been very, very close a couple times haha. Currently 58 kills.

Thats pretty much exactly the same as my Eos fitting and i find it suits all situations well. Drones is your choice dependign on your style tbh
3x E50 Nos 4x Heavy Ion II
1x 10MN MWD II 1x Fleeting Web 1x Warp Disruptor II 1x Medium Elec Cap Booster 1x 'balmer' TD
2x Medium Armor Rep II 1x Explosive Hardner II 1x EAN II 1x DCU II
2x Aux Nano Pump
Also Caged u have a MWD on so wait till your in web range to release your drones matey also makes it easier to pick em up after. sometimes i even wait till im within a few km for the Void, instant scoop/ launch that way to change your drones about easier.
Might pimp this baby out soon with corpum/db tank
the 2x Aux Nano Pump make an evil tank !!

I may be missing something here (I *just* got into my Eos a few weeks ago) but is there a particular reason why the "Super Gang Support" builds most have posted don't use Gang Warfare Modules? I mean, it seems that being able to use 3 means that you should, at the very least, use one or two if not three, right? Are they just not worth it? I'm talking for PvE as well as PvP, and of course not solo.

After using my Eos with a blaster setup for a few weeks im now giving this rails setup a try:
7x t2 250mm rails
1x MWD t2 1x Tracking comp t2 1x sensor booster t2 1x drone nav 1x med cap booster t2 (800er charges)
1x med armor rep t2 1x EANM t2 2x energized expl resist t2 1x RCU t2
Getting in range with all those blaster setups is a real pain, especially at gatecamps. So now im going for rails and hope to deal some dmg with my guns and drones befor the target goes pop to get on the killmail.

+1 This is the best Eos PvP fitting possible. With this tank and 4 Eutectic caprech Eos can tank enything on lvl4's as well. I havent find the way to kill mission npcs fast with Eos though. Missions are slooow on Eos.

Sometimes, they seriously gimp your cap and force you to remove a lot of either your tank or gank. For a ship going in at the **** end of a fight, I don't typically like fitting a combat CS with gang links, for small gangs nos/blasters are typically more useful.
If I was going warfare links I'd use rails sit out at distance, and use heavy maintenance bots probably
