Right, seeing as Tribalbleb has deleted the corp mails already so no-one can see them, here's his response to my suggestion at doing a BS op (evemail sent in good humour btw) :

You are complaining about nothing happening as a corp? we are doing stuff as a corp all the time, now you are apparently bored and you expect someone to arrange an op, a suicide op, so you can have some fun.
I can see what you are trying to do here bellhorn and let me tell you straight, IÆm not here to make sure you have a good time in the game, if you are bored with the game that is your own problem.
I donÆt mind you proposing a corp op but the way you are doing it is kind of ***.

Anyway, if we have enough people online tomorrow we can do some roaming, but it will be by no means a suicide op to make sure you have a good time.

Bit uncalled for really, which then followed with a barriage of abusive nonesense in corp chat (chat logs available by request as I can't post them).
Flame away if you must but I just thought you'd be interested to see what a great corp this is.
No offense to any other corp members, they're all cool but it's just a shame that the CEO can't admit to being WRONG. No wonder a lot of corp members are leaving (including ones that have been in the corp from the beginning).

Would also just like to re-iterate that my corp mail was not negative towards the corp in any way, in fact I was feeling quite cheerful when I posted it, hence the sudden energy to do an op, so why the CEO decides that I have a personal vendeta against him after being mates for so long is beyond me.....very strange.

The forums isnt usually a way to tell your fellow corp mates anything, outside of game mails they usually have their own forums if not, I think now would be a good time set one up :P

They do have a forum but the CEO has sole control of that too and I assume that seeing as he deleted all his corp mails to cover his a$$, he'll do the same on the forum, hope this makes it clear mate.

I can not believe you actually posted it on the forums, anyway for the ppl that care...
Belhorn has been inactive for quite a while, this week he decided to log on again, he was obviously bored with the game and he decided to send out a corp mail saying turby doesnÆt do any corp ops and proposing a suicide op so he could have a laugh.
As a result I replied to him with the mail you can see in the opening post.
ThatÆs all there is to it.

HAHAHA OMG, I see you're covering your tracks nicely as usual. I'm not going to retalliate as it's not worth it, will simply let anyone who cares draw their own conclusions.
I haven't been inactive, just haven't been on Vent due to lack of action. My original mail didn't make any reference to me wanting anyone to suicide, I was trying to organise an op to which the CEO expected to "have to" organise himself (?) - if you "have to" do something like that, you may want to reconsider your position in Turbulent.

That may be the case mate but like I've already said, this is more for the benefit of other Turby members. I would never have brought this to the forums if I thought I was in any way responsible for what happened. I simply suggested some kind of op that I was more than willing to set up, I was looking for numbers on who would be interested (not a suicide op in any way) and when I logged back on I was faced with the original evemail at the top of this thread.

Sorry to hear that Belhorn.
One thing I do know though, if you're online, its good to be on your ts/vent with the rest of your Corp M8s, even if there isn't any action going on.
Also, its hard to convey a message through an ingame email. I would have spoken to my CEO on vent about my thoughts. Its very possible you would have received a different response and perhaps did not take offense to it?

As a CEO, I always preferred when people spoke to me in person before they threw some "appeal to the masses"-drama. You think the CEO sucks, keep it between you and him, it's under his flag you're flying (You joined his corp, remember?).

Unfortunately it's not that simple in Turby mate as the CEO isn't really approachable, there's always a good chance he won't want to take part in an op because he's doing missions with an alt. Also, whenever I go on Vent, 99% of the time he's in the AFK channel anyway (which has been noticed by a lot of corp members).
Also, I'm not flying under his flag because I was never a "join-ee", I helped to create Turbulent, in fact I do believe I played a big part in the naming of the corp when Dr .Evil's Assassins merged with The Insane Tormentors.
And finally, there is no "show" and I'll only mention this point one more time, it's fao the rest of the Turby members, maybe I should have put that in the title tbh.
I ain't a drama queen, that's just for people who don't know me to assume, other Turby members who know me are aware that I'm always in good spirits and generally an easy going person, but this sort of thing has happened between the CEO and corp members one time too many, and it's rattled my cage.

Trib's is always unreasonable thats the reason he has gone though about 7 directors / Co CEO's maybe more. Tribs is or was a nice guy but I think power, money, greed have all gone to his head, he has taken the fun away from being in a corp and anything you do he takes personally, the guy just needs to chill out. Easier said than done mate, there are a fair few members in Turby and I like all of them so individual PMs would take a while to sort (unless there's a way to add everyone in one mail that I'm not aware of?). As for the forums, I've already been banned from them, and from Vent too

he hasnt been rude/inflammatory, only one who has been was the ceo :P
and i know everyone in the corp should contribute to activity, but if nothing is going on, thats the ceos fault, and his alone...his position gives him the responsibility.

I agree, Turby are definitely not inactive, which is why my original Evemail to the corp was not intended to suggest that at all, the CEO just took it upon himself to believe that it was for some strange reason, and then completely flip by reply. Hence my total confusion with him.

You DID suggest a 'shop till you drop' sort of suicide run when you said something along the lines of ''I don't care if I lose my ship as long as i get a good laugh". You DID say that the reason for the op is because "this game is getting boring". Stop saying that all you meant was "hey guys lets go on an op". You know thats not what you meant. While I don't like Tribalbleb as a person, I do respect the fact that he has been able to build a great corp of bedlam and destruction with such a reputation that even Verone chimes in to brown-nose. :-)
Granted I haven't been in turby for awhile but I do not believe tribs is a inaccessible or unreasonable CEO. He knows what he wants his corp to be, has goals, and generally will not budge from his motives.
Belhorn knew EXACTLY what he was doing by creating this thread. "Just trying to let other turby members know whats going on" is a lame excuse. Turby, while individuals and the corp go inactive from time to time, is a tight knit corp and very little gets past anyone. Belhorn's motivation was to attempt to shame tribal and hope that past members would post in agreement. The opposite has happened.
I have screwed over people in game(even friends, unfortunately) and have been screwed over myself in game. Not once have I ran to the forums to cry and whine about it like Belhorn has. Your intention was to leave turby and you know it, and Ian hopped on to defend you only because he doesn't like tribs wanted to leave too.
Turby's image isn't tarnished, the killmails still roll in, and tribs still gets smooches from Mazzy :-)
Posting with an alt 4TW!! I'm sure most turby members know who this is, if not, ask Mazzy.

two things - first off, as unorthodox as this post is - I sort of understand where the OP is coming from and why he put it here. It should have gone in COAD or something but that's not a huge deal - the fact is that he felt he needed to communicate with his fellow corp mates and didn't feel the corp's own forums was a safe place to do that. That's pretty sad that the corp has people that feel that way, but that doesn't make the OP 100% wrong in bringing it here.
Secondly, one of the fundamental truths I face as the CEO of an upstart/smaller corp (especially a "PvP" one) is that if I were to go away from game for an extended period of time then the corp would die. It doesn't matter how many directors I have in place or people I trust to "run" things - without a visible leadership presence at the top and clear corp goal, things would crumble quickly. I am tight with a corp who had their CEO go away from game for a while (come back soon, Thay!) and before he left he did the right thing and passed CEO duties off to his most trusted corp member. If the CEO of your (now former) corp was gone that long, it's too bad that he didn't have the integrity to do that.

That was the impression that I got from the OP's post, but it doesn't matter if it's fact or not. I was just saying that as a CEO, you can't take extended breaks from the game and expect things to remain intact within your corp.
I don't know (or care much) about Turby's internal politics. I was just stating something I've learned from my own short experience as the head of a corp.

T'Renn... unfortunately you are slightly off with your impressions of what I was trying to put across, but that aside, I genuinely do appreciate your comments, some of the very few constructive ones in this thread, and your statement is absolutely correct in my opinion.
On the subject of not being active (which I would STILL like to make clear, is NOT what I implied in my corpmail that triggered this whole fiasco off), my own observations (and a couple of others) showed that the CEO would regularly decline participation in ops when they occurred and spent a lot of time in the afk channel on Vent (this is true, I am not just saying this to stir), which obviously makes the time with the corp a little uninteresting, hence my finding better things to do than play Eve. That has all changed now I'm happy to say and to everyone's relief, I consider this matter "exercised" and closed. Although if there's an award for the longest thread ever, then please keep posting

Wow - lots of butthurt going on in this thread.
As my corp does a lot of gate camping, I consider gate camp ops to be pretty fun. Roaming is for Eve Warriors and people who are better PvPers than I am. I just like pretty explosions tbh and the occasional fan mail. If my corp all said as a majority "gatecamping sucks, Renn -- let's go roam around" then I would have to listen, though. You gotta do what your guys want or else you're not going to have any guys to want anything. :)
Ship spinning is a lot of fun sometimes - I know this from experience (much to my corp's disdain.) Also, there's a lot of work that goes into being CEO of a good corp that goes above and beyond just going in ops with your corp (though I try to as much as possible.)
I'm sorry I misunderstood who spins a ship and who is not nber enough to be in someone's gang. If there was ever a corpie of mine who said that he didn't want to fly with another corp member because that person wasn't fit to do so, I hate to say it but that situation would be resolved with someone enjoying the comforts of an NPC corp. If my guys don't trust each other, the corp is just not going to be very good tbh. Chemistry before kills, always. "A house divided" and all that jazz.
Also to the OP - I could have hooked you up with a better corp / alliance than OHGOD. Hope you've got ten bucks!

Agreed, shame turby is becoming a Gatecamping corp only it used to be a great roaming gank, small gangs Pvp corp back in its day.

I don't know why you're taking it upon yourself to attack Tobias in this thread - I don't know what your history is between each other. However I do know that Tobias runs a moderately sized corp where everyone gets along pretty well. If he's offering his input in this thread, it's probably going to be substantive. I do a bit of reading of these forums and I've never found Tobias to be anything but a constructive member of the forum community.
I suppose flaming has its place overall, but I've found that my grandmother (rest her soul) was correct in saying that "you catch more flies with honey than you do with a flyswatter, and besides I'm going to be busy using the flyswatter to bust your ass if you don't leave me alone and go play, Renn."
