We'll have to see - DX11 support is far from done at this point. That is something the wine devs have to fix, and I can't imagine CCP having many resources to spend for wine development. I may be mistaken, though. Snorlax would probably know how much CCP devs contribute to wine. |

I am not asking them to do that, just if in their opinion it is usable for us. I'm excited because after that update my old pc had a performance increase of approximately 120%.

I have the same picture here, but this may be a "feature" of the Snorlauncher. I'll try to get it running the old way using just wine and the Windows launcher later. I don't think it will work yet, though. DX11 support really doesn't work yet, I think. |

It's not super important and at some point in the future I will get newer hardware. I am just happy about the performance increase.

Login screen works on Wine 2.0-rc3 (Ubuntu 16.10 on GTX 970)
But if i start the session with correct ssotoken and try to login, it stays all black.
if anybody went further let us know |

My recommendation is to stay on the LTS like Ubuntu 16.4 LTS. You will get the new kernel and packages anyways, it might just take a few weeks longer to backport them.
I did install the wineHQ apt packages and it works just fine on my 14.4 LTS.
