So, I have been flying Thorax before with about similar setup just with Ions and almost no tank(med rep + 400mm plate), so I was thinking to get Brutix to use and here what I came up with:

Thats a good setup, tho apparently I am quite away from T2 guns right now, needed something along normal skill reqs and good output, just rethought it again to how it should look and came out like this:
7x Electrons
1x MWD, 1x Web, 1x Cap Booster with 800s, 1x 20km Disruptor.
2x MAR II, 1x EANM, 1x Damage Control, 1x Explosive Hardener.
Gives a quite decent resists coupled with above 700ish hp rep.
Would that work better then previous?

I don't like your lows. I think you can take better advantage of the Brutix repair bonus.
2x MAR II, DC, N-Type Explosive, N-Type Nano
With your cap booster you can keep both reppers running easily. If you want more damage, drop the Nano membrane for a Mag Stab. The rep bonus is the best part about the Brutix's tank. You should prefer a 2nd repper to additional resists or plates.
Exactly what I have done just now.
2x MAR II, 1x DC/EANM/Explosive.
As for other setups above, thanks alot for ideas, however in my current state of skills both pvp and abilities are not suited for attacking anything larger or even better trained same size(say like a 500 dps tank on myrmi is really thing i wont attack).
Another thing, cap boosters should be 800 charges right? Is there any math to see whats more efficent then 2x 400 or 1x 800?

Well, you most likely will be shot with something explosive if target can pick ammo type, then wouldnt 64% explosive resistance be a good surprise?

Hm, considering last post then, is there any point in trying to create stable tanking close-range setups for gallente? Is there any option to do it even?
