The Revelations 1.4.2 patch has been deployed and Tranquility has returned to service. If you have an issue after the deployment, please check the Known Issues page to see if the Dev Team is already aware of it and submit a bug report. If you are unsure of what has been changed in this patch, please take a look at the Patch Notes page.
Please keep feedback constructive and on-topic. Negative, spam or off-topic posts will be removed.
The Dev Team will be monitoring this thread throughout the next few days to keep abreast of the patch deployment and status.
Update(1): A number of exploits were resolved during the patch, but were not announced in an effort to prevent last minute exploiting. These exploit fixes have been added to the patch notes.*
Update(2): The following addition was made to the Patch Notes:
The Salvage Drone Operation skill was incorrectly added to TQ as a mission reward, and has been removed.
The Dev Team is discussing how to resolve the issue created by the untimely release of the skill to Tranquility. When a decision has been made, the community will be informed.
We apologize for the confusion resulting from the deployment and removal of the skill.
Update(3): Due to a hardware issue we have experienced a lot of node deaths. This has been temporarily fixed, meaning we shouldn't have more node deaths due to this, and we will fix the hardware next week to get rid of it once and for all. A lot of the lag you may have experienced since startup is probably due to this issue.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
* All post patch updates to the patch notes are done in green colored text.

Originally by: WhitePhantom Shouldn't the patch be 1.4.2 instead of 1.4.1?
I was frantically updating the Known Issues page and missed that, thanks.

Someone who has the Overview bug, please run a log server, restart your client and reproduce the bug.
Then file a bugreport as soon as possible, and the matter will be looked into with haste.

Originally by: DukeJoost1 And what is the new reward for those missions ?
Not only is the time i (we) have spend for those missions now wasted. Also the time spend in training the skill to level 2 and the skillpoints !
Why remove a perfectly good skill, valueable to skill collectors only ?
The skill had zero benefit in-game, as Salvage Drones have not been released. We are still trying to determine what route to take in regards to the points/time invested by players who trained the skill.

Originally by: Mindblank This is probably just a typing error... but all interdictors have 400 calibration points listed, except the Heretic which has 200.
fixed internally to 400, thanks for pointing it out. Will get it added to known issues until we can have it fixed on TQ.

Just added to the Known Issues:
The Overseer in the Angel Extravaganza Level 3 mission does not spawn if any of the Large Collidable Structures (LCS) in the final room are destroyed before all the resident NPCs in the same room have been dispatched. This prevents completion of the mission. Dispatching all the NPCs in the room before destroying a LCS will spawn the Overseer as intended and allows for mission completion. This issue will be resolved in the very near future.
We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.

Originally by: Pooka You added the skill books, I acquired them honestly and then you removed them. Are the honset players going to get reimburse?
At no point in time have I stated the players who trained this skill are now "out of luck", only that the Devs are looking into how to resolve the issue.
As the situation stands at this time, the skill points and levels trained are not lost, the skill points and levels are still in the character's database entry. Disabling the skill removes its visibility on the character sheet and skill point totals.
If Salvage Drones are introduced into the game, the skill will be reactivated and be visible on the character sheet, in the skill point totals, on the market, etc. If Salvage Drones are taken off of the list of future features, those that trained the skill will be reimbursed in a manner equivalent to the time invested.

Regarding the overview problem, if you either recreate your overview settings and save over the current stored version, it appears to resolve the issue. Alternatively, you can try clearing your cache (yes all of it). There have been reports of the issue returning after a while though. We are still working on finding a full fix for this situation.
