At least it's being used in a pvp situation as opposed to being a shiny in someones hangar or running missions in high sec. As to the bragging aspect, 2.2 bill of ship is worth bragging about in my book! Saving up myself for the pimp mods for my machariel and rest assured when it goes pop I want it to go out with a bang against someone else rather than the insipid mission/belt rats. Last statement doesn't make much sense. Everyone loses ships. From the very best, to the very worst. You're speaking as though you've never taken a loss. An experienced Pirate losing an expensive setup & faction ship does no more to hurt one's reputation, as an inexperienced Bear losing a t1 fitted Cruiser.

DE

No, no it wasn't intended on coming out the way it did. I personally prefer to roam for targets than camp, though I have done a fair share of gating, admittedly not in low sec so much.
