As a gal player I have no issue with barges being shield tankers. I would have prefered them to be armour because that would have forced miners to make a choice between tank, yeild or cargo but CCP decided to make that choice for miners. |

cant shield tank a freighter.
also cant armour tank a lot of caldari cruisers and expect good results. Amarr ships also don't like shield tanks slapped on them. Guristas ships don't do well with armour tanks. |
