Since then the Northern Coalition seems to have lost some ground (Fade), while the Alliance lost 3 regions of LV space. Well, normally when someone sets a bunch of goals for themselves and their allience, they strive to achieve those goals. The coalitions goal was to wipe bob from the map but according to the influence map, the reverse is currently happening.

This war started when Molle said something to the extend "Chow we are stealing your targets". The short term goas were the ones I stated., Was in everyone interest (everyone in coalition) to kill LV before anything else). And was on bob interest to keep LV alive and gaurding the south frontier from a direct BOB/Redswam frontier. Colaition clearly won on the first objective of the war, the next stage is proving to be more complicated. If brute force doesn't solve your problem... you are not using enough

I think you're also going to see that after the war ends, an awful lot of 'below the radar' groups are going to experience this as well. As these enormous fleets and supercaps become free to lopsidedly squash groups that have no useful means to fight them. That's not much fun either btw.

Unfortunatly the losing wives tactic has backfired allowing people to play longer. However they may have to play less and work more due to paying child support so it may pan out in the long run after the verdicts. Removing them from their territory would just mean roaming super stabital ship fleets and not get desired end result. So a long term metagaming plan would be needed to out metagame the metagamers.
