Anyways, I sniped some guy at a gate and in return he began sending me sexual harrasment, including telling me he would track me down and ***me using my ip, he then began sending mails containing that other word for vagina repeated to the max character limit god knows how many times, before he went and defaced the payus forum with beastiality pictures. I do ofcourse have other various death treaths, but I don't think any of them involved having tillers servers bombed with horse sex. No dead infants ISD, and as long as he coughs up the ransom it stays that way**

Of course. You are never anonymous on the net and are very traceable if the person tracking you down knows what he is doing. The IP address however is not enough to get to you personally, he need access to the logs / records from your ISP as well.

Unlikly using only the eve client. You never directly connect with another player, your communications always go through the eve servers, so (unless the server was transmitting your IP to the other guys client along with game data) there would be no way for him to obtain it. Most likly it was just scare-tactics from some sad, angry person. -----

Google, if you ever named your eve char along with anything that ties you to something that can be linked to whatever etc.

Few days ago in low sec we were minding our own business, being innocent as always, when a corpmate scans a freaking Providence from the gates. And indeed he comes to gate, we all warp to it, jump after him and start killing. Tried to ransom, but the guy insisted all he had was some 80 mil, and that's what he offered, obviously not worth letting him go. We were just several guys and it really took us a while to get his structure down, all this time he was begging us to stop, saying he worked for ages to afford himself that ship. I was in Astarte, friend was in a claw, also had a guy in system in a pilgrim. I warped to a belt, pretty much insta popped the Exequrpr he was in. (blasters ftw). After I did that, he typed that in local. 20 min later, his corp m8 shows up in an apoc. Warps to planet, i scan him out at it, warp to it. he begins approaching me, a tristan warps in. I lol. Apoc engages me, and our claw and pilgrim warp in. Pilgrim is wayyyyy outa range so he starts coming in. Claw owned the tristan, apoc didnt even touch my armor (pilgrim did its stuff to it when it hit structure pretty much lol) Then, a Nemisis, and a BB warp in. so we kill them too. Never heard from them again :(

They were currently being reviewed prior to acceptance, needless to say, one of the new requirements was they had to "drop that asshat like a bag of hammers" first.
