That actually sounds like a lot of fun. Player imposed economic sanctions could make for very interesting market dynamics.
Alts Online will just mean some people will take more advantage of loopholes than others which would be true regardless of the existence of alts.

..Issue arises when other people sell to the people you want to sanction. Go to Jita, buy whatever you want. Just because you aren't selling your Rokhs to someone, doesn't mean that 100 other people will follow suit.

maybe this idea would never work .... but still after all the reply's i still like the concept, maybe it wouldn't fix anything, but it would give some control to the suppliers, and for the people who don't care, they can raise their prices and still win, there will be buyers at a higher price for the same items. everyone has there oan ideas. and everyone plays the way they want, that's eve... that's what we are paying for, just want to have fun playing the way i want, just like the pvpers. but fly safe and have fun however you want to play. |

I like your idea.
If people want to take the trouble to log on with an alt just to purchase items their main is not allowed to purchase, more power to them. If certain undesirable categories of player want to purchase from me, let them work for it. |

This only works if you run your own little 'ma and pop' store, and actually kick out the customers you don't like. If you are a major manufacturer, for example, you can't demand that Walmart not sell self-sealing stembolts to Nog, but YES, by all means sell them to Quark or Rom.
You can always keep all your stuff and sell to people exclusively by contract, but it sounds like more trouble than it's worth, unless you really, really, love your stuff. I do exactly this with my T2 Exhumer BPC's. If I like you, I'll probably burn you one for free. If I don't, go pay full price, chump. It doesn't really matter except that it's amusing. They're still gonna get one from someone else. |
