What led up to this battle:
after roaming around ganking npcing battleships of xelas and fatal and random other corps including a <GHOST> alliance machariel. we managed to bump a xelas carrier off the station in U-S. we called moris mihi and they reported their gang was 13 jumps away and should have just enough firepower to take down a carrier, so we kept him off the station. a <ghost> alliance thanatos undocked and attempted to save the xelas carrier but we kept him dampened so he could do nothing but smartbomb. the thanatos docked up and dropped a cyno... more carriers started jumping in so we bailed as we got a report of a HUN corp gang inbound. as we left our gang had grown to around 30 guys mostly in cruiser size ships. we tried to intercept the HUN corp gang but they all bailed out given our gang was twice the size of thiers. i managed to get within 1k of a rapier so i lost my crow.
on to get another ship in yz-lql...
i met up back with the gang as they, and moris mihi had just crushed a dirty deeds corp battleship gang of around 6 or 7 battleships and a hac. we decided to go into g95 and stir up some trouble.
The Fatal/xelas/bob resistance gang formed:
a very large gang consisting of about 80-90 ships set up on the c1x gate in g95 with 9-10 sniping battleships and 25-30 battlecruisers on the gate with dictor and hac suport. i was in my arazu so i vollenteered to set up on some of the snipers since we were severly outnumbered. the fighter count on the gate was over 50 fighters. a few more ships trickled in so we contacted the Moris mihi gang to see if they wanted to help. the whole time weve been sitting on the other side of the gate in our optimal ranges. Moris mihi finaly decided to come.
The plan:
Moris mihi were to go into b32 and warp in on top of some of the snipers that were inline with that gate. we were to jump into the large blobbed up cluster of fighters and battlecruisers, hold our cloaks till everyone was loaded and kill off the suport while MM killed the snipers. MM gang consisted of about 25 guys mostly in small ships.

What happens next is beyond me:
MM jump into g95 from b32 and warp exactly as planned, we jumped in and loaded grid... the entire Fatal/Xelas/BoB gang had bailed from the gate leaving drones out.
so we warp to the station and kill a ferox who isnt paying attention.
GF Fatal, awesome battle, you outnumbered us 2:1 and have incredibly more firepower and tank than our small cruiser gangs could ever hope dish out, yet you still show your true color and yellow your way to a safe spot as soon as there is a possibility of losing a single ship.

same luck as us 
It wasn't a night for battles. We had great opportunity to fight roughly 50 v 50 against -Y- and MC in Fade
But to our suprise, they warped str8 onto the gate and jumped out 
We only killed a slow BS, as they ran back to be in range of the Titan cyno.
Given the same situation...we would have engaged.

We had a roughly 25 man gang of fast movers, mostly cruiser size and light ships, Morsus Mihi had a gang that was something similar, FATAL had this + 50 fighters (roughly 100 hostiles in system vs our two small gangs of fast movers)
Another potentially good fight ruined by people's unwillingness to risk losing ships while having some fun.
Oh, and that tech 1 fitted macharial used by the 'mercs' xelas hired to defend their space, classic setup, tractor beams ftw on faction ships.
My stabber got out of that at 30% armour after being shot at by about 30 people, small sig radius ftw

However..I do agree with him. It seems that the alliance are not prepared to risk anything in a fight that they may lose...maybe it's an isk thing
The gang we encountered ran from a fair fight, then set up a large bubble with 4 carriers on gate and a Titan on call...pretty funny if you ask me

How about telling us of battles that did happen. Looking at BoBÆs kill board, thereÆs like dead goons and their pets everywhere. LetÆs hear about those battles, because obviously they did happen and thatÆs what everyone wants to know, not that goons didnÆt get a fight when they wanted one.
If you really want a fight, go put some towers in to reinforce mode and youÆll get a response that your are looking for. Oh, wait. That didnÆt go very well last time your friends tried that. Never mind then.

Hmm...well we seem to have a strange problem with our POS managers  So our POS tend to come out of reinf when there is noboby online.
When we do have a fleet together, sadly we dont get a fight. At the moment...its working in MC's favour as they dont seem to need any sleep
I am genuinely impressed by the enemies alarm clock operations
Wish we had as many unemployed in D2

They are to busy crying about battles that dont happen for what ever reason. Whats funny about this post is they cry about no battles while there friends are losing space in multiple other areas.

I think supressing a multi-alliance fleet to a single system, without having to fire a shot, was a fine evening enough

Is this spate of 'controversial' style threads from BOS going to become a regular feature? I hope not. Are you trying to impress your goon buddies with your edgy new attitude?
I've always had a lot of respect for BOS so I hope you guys chill out again.
Anyway surely they didn't engage you because they suspected you had a ton of capitals ready to drop on top of them or something similar. FATAL don't seem like cowards at all to me, but they have been around the block a few times.

We all know GoonSwarm is in a gank and then smear campaign currently... meaning they might gank 1 ratter in a constellation then when the force against them starts to form they run and dock at npc stations... then when they dock they complain about blobbing on our part and such on Eve-O even though GS is the king of blobs... no matter how many local smacking forum warriors they have... GS is still in trouble (atleast I would say).... and yes I may not consider Black Omega the same as GS/GoonWaffe (Black Omega is better I would say) but ur tactics are not much better.. respect to Black Omega guys but don't act like ur dominating us to get forum warriors on ur side when it is alot the opposite...

When I see an enemy fleet that would *NEVER* voluntarily engage me jumping in, I'd certainly be thinking they had carrier backup, too.
And frankly, you're insane if you undock these days without a cynosural field generator on one of your gang's ships. You never know when you'll need to bring in the big boys, and it gives you a heck of a lot more tactical capabilities. Even more so if you have a Titan or two to jump portal people around.
Personally, I'd have ordered engage-while-aligning, and ordered the warp-out when the cyno went up, but that's just me. The FATAL FC's decision was not a bad one.

Well (correct me if I'm wrong) but we were on the C1X gate all spread out (our snipers were all different places).. the Black Omega/Snigg (NOT GS/Pandemic Legion.. those 2 corps are better than their alliances IMHO) gang jumped into system from another gate (C-N gate not C1X where we were..)..
Our snipers were all spread out (within maybe 100-200km from gate but all coming from diff warp in points) on C1X gate so we warped to POS to reform b/c we didn't want a hostile cov ops to get right next to a few snipers sitting together when everyone else is like 100km out... all spread apart....
I'm sure they wanted us to stay there all spread out so they could warp the gang right on top of a few snipers.. away from our main group... with a cov ops pilot then take them out..
We realized this and went to POS then back to gate all together...
Black Legion/Snigg smacked local and then left before we could get back into position where all snipers were together...
We may have outnumbered them slightly but we were not about to lose ships we didn't have to..
Remember.. the facts are Black Omega/Snigg lost like 5 ships in g95... we lost none (this is in reference to the original posters "battle report of G95")..
I just want to get the truth or at least semi truth out there... instead of the complete BS a lot of GS members post here...

Whats lame is this forum post and all the smack in local. It seems to be getting worse and worse by the day. I have not seen Snig smack (that I can recall) but BOS is getting bad. And then to claim your not goons when your in the goonswarm alliance is just stupid.

In all honesty, ask yourself if you would fight (and lose ships and still fight) like the goons against several titans, more moms and a huge cap fleet. Would you still fight? Or would you have given up already, resorting to npc-stations and hit-and-run tactics, leaving the field to McBob?
Would your alliance been broken, destroyed by unrest amongst the members? Or would you still seek out battles against all odds, risking complete gangs all the time?
Only if you can say yes to all the above you have a right to point fingers at the goons, and even then it would be stupid to do so.

Last I checked, it is YOUR choice when exactly the POS come out of reinforced. Any complaints about not having people to defend when they come out are thereby void and null, because either:
1) your communication sucks so much your POS managers don't know when to let POS come out
2) your POS managers don't know how much stront a tower uses per hour when in reinforced
3) your members have been getting so sick of getting slapped around in capital on capital fights that they won't turn up anymore
I'm guessing it's a mix of 1 and 3.

It might also help to not let your spy copy a faulty POS timer list off our forums but maybe have one guy in your alliance check the reinforced timers on your POS yourselves. It would prevent events like last weekend where you showed up with a fleet to defend a POS that we destroyed two hours prior.

cannot see the point of this post other than for Farscape to try an enlarge his e-peen.
intel was that 50 hostile gang mostly hacs/recons/several BS had gathered up near our location,.. unsure of capital support. (was tired at the time so wasnt paying attention to all the details)
we gathered up.. support on gate, snipers somewhat spread over certain points.
intel reported a section of the hostiles split from the main force and came into g95 via another gate, our FC saw that they would probably warpin ontop of our snipers (as we had a hostile cloaker in the system). so instead of lossing couple of tech 2 BS just for the sake of getting a fight, we was ordered to regroup and engage when it suited us not the enemy.
predict the enemy movments and act according.. its called tactics.
sorry that you didnt get the fight you wanted, theres always another time.

TBH the reason so many fleets are pussies now is there is always the chance that as soon as you jump in a cyno goes up and bam there goes your entire fleet before the grid is even loaded.
If there weren't titans floating around i bet you would see a lot more fights. Even some xelas homo is bragging about how a titan chased off a fleet. How can you enjoy that? It's killing off good fleet fights tbh

i agree with you 100% bro, my first encounter with a titan was when we were destroying LV. the bob/lv gang was set up on the gate in with bagillions of sniping bs's and a large bubble on the gate, near even fight, we jump in, they warp off, someone said on ts "cyno on the gate", i load in a emergency warp spot with half hull on my megathron, 90% of our fleet in pods.
some guy just spent about 15m of fuel and blew up billions of isk worth of fleet without even taking a risk of warping to the gate, or fighting us with the fleet they had baited us with. then he recloaked.... i mean if we did happen to jump dreads on him and manage to decloak it, warp our now nonexistant fleet in and bubble him start pounding away.... he would set off one officer smartbomb, pop the dictor bubble and jump out no matter how many tacklers we may have.

That said, if roaming gangs made a forum thread every time the enemy who outnumbered them ran of or were uncordinated, i think this forum would be even less worth reading than it is now.

Yall tried to spring a trap, failed, and then exited system as soon as we came to the fight. We didn't want to fight on your terms, you didn't want to fight on ours. You repeatedly tried to bait us into a trap, dancing the two gangs around every gate back and forth back and forth. Having one gang sit at optimals while the other was 2 jumps away. Its very very very simple, you tried to trap us, we avoided the trap and countered it by entering the fight on our terms. At that point rather then sticking around for the fight, yall exited system and went home. No one was stupid, except all the smack in local.

Did I miss something or did the OP make a battle report about and engagement in which they killed no ships? If thats right then surely its the most pointless post ever on this forum (which is quite some effort considering the company its in).

Dude, don't preach for another alliance what your own alliance can't manage.
More so, logging off fighting ships with aggro is not only a sign of cowardnes, but also a sign of incompenetence. The fact that there was a freighter there or not, doesn't change the fact that you cowardly logged off your fighting ships after firing upon me alone in the system. The freighter detail was only to remind some of your alliance mates the context.
It's not me the one delusional in here, I'm just stating the facts.

black omega joining goonswarm really killed their cred as far as i'm concerned. frankly I wasn't that impressed with your PvPing in delve as it was based around lame repping carriers undocking from stations(never left the docking range of the station i might add) behind you after aggroing with a megatanked BS or command ship or blobbing. well I do remember one fight where you got caught with even numbers and got spanked hard, probably because you were busy trying to run.

i agree with you 100% bro, my first encounter with a titan was when we were destroying LV. the bob/lv gang was set up on the gate in with bagillions of sniping bs's and a large bubble on the gate, near even fight, we jump in, they warp off, someone said on ts "cyno on the gate", i load in a emergency warp spot with half hull on my megathron, 90% of our fleet in pods.
some guy just spent about 15m of fuel and blew up billions of isk worth of fleet without even taking a risk of warping to the gate, or fighting us with the fleet they had baited us with. then he recloaked.... i mean if we did happen to jump dreads on him and manage to decloak it, warp our now nonexistant fleet in and bubble him start pounding away.... he would set off one officer smartbomb, pop the dictor bubble and jump out no matter how many tacklers we may have.

Don't be a silly billy they've always been smacking left right an centre with the rest of The Five. You just choose to see it differently now you're on the otherside of the fence. They were damn good pvp'ers though, higher quality than the rest of the .5. (imo)
