(btw...which corps/alliances all have a titan? I know of D2, BoB, LV, but what about the rest?)

I think it is just a matter of time until a pirate corp get their hands on one.
And when that day come i do expect a-lot of nerfing posts all over forums.
Shortly after we will probably see the first nerfing of Titans.

there already is a pirate faction with a titan... Ev0ke lays claim to ec-p8r and are pirates, they have an erebus...

D2's first titan was destroyed, second departed with the Evoke break-off, third was recently unveiled. BoB has three currently, one of which is LV's from the senior Shinra members merging into BoB. -A- has one as well. The titan pilots are:
Tom McCash, Evoke - Erebus
Evil Thug, -A- - Erebus
Chowdown, BoB - Avatar
Orange Species, BoB - Ragnarok
Shrike, BoB - Avatar
Janus Drake, D2 - Leviathan

I've been away from CAOD as well, just catching up on Titan issues since we're currently fighting one (hi Tom  ) so it's entirely possible.

The number one way someone gets 'hacked' is because of account sharing.
If the titan pilots were account sharing then its FAR more possible to steal one.
I also think the shared accounts for titans is a myth in most cases, I don't see Evil Thug or Molle saying 'here take my titan pilot for a spin' to anyone they didn't know Biblically. The only 'shared' titan I heard about was D2's dead one.

70bn isn't worth stealing a titan for considering that you pretty much have to ebay your character after you receive payment. In fact, doesn't it cost more than 70bn to even build one (76bn?).
No doubt that there are people who have 70bn or more isk in their wallets, but still, what are you going to do once you get the 70bn that you couldn't have done before you turned traitor and thief? Look at R0me0, he sure had a lot of fun with his stolen 75bn, not.
